I cleared officers exam, then I cleared SSB and finally I had to lose in medical eye test. I lost a career for no mistake of me. I know it's painful. He will win next time with his determination.
I salute the passion, the patriotism I see in this video. I have myself gone through 5 of such selections (3 Army, 2 Airforce and 1 Navy), each time clearing the written, physicals and in a few of the cases, interview, but always failed in Medical. I was so heartbroken each time I failed the medical. My father, who passed 8 years ago, may his soul RIP, accompanied me on each of the 5 selections in multiple parts of our GREAT nation. I remember the passion in his eyes since I was very young. He was so passionate towards serving the nation and he didn't think of any other profession his son should choose in the place of serving the nation. I shared his passion too (may be actually a lot more than him). I had a medical condition which I couldn't resolve and I only found about it the first time I failed the medical. It was a selection in the Indian Army. I got medical help and always in hopes of getting through in the next attempt, I carried on. Today, I am settled in an IT profession and there isn't a day that goes by that I do not remember those good old days. The heartbreak I went through each time I failed. I finally gave up and the only reason I quit trying was to stop the heartbreak my father was going through as well. I hope, wish and pray to the Almighty, whoever he or she is, to give me a second chance. Let me be born as a Human again in my next avatar, one who is gifted with good health. I would like to join the Indian Army as a Soldier or an Officer, wear the pride of a Uniform and serve this great nation. Jai Hind.
