Things fundamentally changed ,thanks for the courage but mindsets have failed to follow the fundamental change.

Olivia Lutaaya, 30 is a mother of two. She was first arrested with the Kalangala team in 2020 and released briefly. She was then abducted in 2021 from Namuwongo, badly beaten and kept under incommunicado detention for months before she was produced before the military court. 3 years now,she has never seen Justice!

We are aware of it but there are aspectes that have deliberately been ignored. How do we go about this? Make ours as well or?

On Friday last week, the High Court issued orders commanding Mr. Museveni’s regime to release comrade Kayiwa Alex Karyowa who was abducted more than a month ago. Unsurprisingly, the regime has defied Court and refused to release him.
You can understand why we are increasingly looking at the ICC and other international mechanisms to hold them accountable: they don't feel accountable to any authority here!

Interesting piece of work, highly educative and excellently pieced together by the Isaiah productions team. My only worry is that this blood that was shed in liberation war could go to waste if constitutionalism & democracy aren't adhered to in the coming future.

But nothing much has changed post colonial eras unless I need assistance to understand otherwise. We have more religion shades (pentecostals) etc, more divisions in terms of districts according to tribes and clans, more newly installed kings and kingdoms, current neocolonialism using existing administrative structures in exploitation and finally Odoki has summarized it better at the end of the film.
