If there is anything about Natasha and her siblings is how they know how to be graceful and royal. You can easily see their mum did a great job grooming them

She sounds amazing. I wish they would come out more and tell Ugandans who they really are. Our society would learn a lot from her. Esp on growing up with privilege and remain sober.

Natasha I just love the way u deal with stress and problem. U have found the way or foundation to deal with ur problem Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can keep us from all these issues. Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavily ladden and I will give u rest. This is the only solution to mental issues. I wish the youth of today could go for that and leave the filthy of this world.

My biggest take from natasha was whoever is struggling there will be better times and It's the cycle. God as a PILLAR we conquer whoever ill also remind you folks that hardtimes are subjective . What's hard for me may be good or soft to another however that doesn't change the narrative that hard times create strong men strong men create good times these create weak men and inturn create badtimes. The cycle continues .Also note that there's no clear source the badtimes so it's all up their in your mind . I'll also quote her emphasising she journals , Journaling creates self awareness and this is a good begining point in mental healing , sometimes I get to understand that the generations before had mental healing and self therapy without even realising. All in all it was such a lovely talk filled with humility .thanks Wonder thanks natasha

I love her perspective on the strength the men that went before the current generation exuded. I have observed that people can get so lost in understanding their triggers, emotions etc. etc. and forget that they have God given strength. We need to rise up, sermon our inner energies and "deal with things" just like our fathers and mothers did. Let's stop victimising ourselves. It is not Godly!
That said, I know and acknowledge that mental health challenges are a real thing but if one isn't careful, they might actually be dealing with laziness not depression or whatever.

    27:30 trauma is trauma
    Nothing like real trauma
There are things that are generally more difficult for most people
And then others that are more case by case.
Point being people have different levels of how much they can handle, different levels of resilience. Even small things can traumatize someone
Eg. Two people have no father but one doesn’t care about Father’s Day, the other is completely wrecked by the day. So many small things can contribute to these different reactions.

We have a responsibility to have self control/discipline on regulating our social media use and influence. We must begin to empower ourselves with more solid truths and patterns thru seeking knowledge &wisdom from credible sources and those who came before us. Mostly importantly, I LOVE the constant Bible references a reflection of her true source of strength 10/10 on that.

Natasha is real, she has shown us that we're actually stronger than we think. We need to open our children's minds' that they can say NO. That they don't have to be what everybody says they are. And instead believe that they are actually enough before they venture out there. It's been a solid conversation yet dealing with abstract issues.

Our parents went through hardships yes but did not know how to process and express all those emotions in healthy ways, no knowledge about taking care of their mental states and that resulted into them projecting so much of their traumas on us. Feeling and talking about feelings doesnt make you soft. Problem comes if all you can do is feel sorry for yourself and not be solution orientated.

Great talks! You are giving us a glimpse into the 'affluent' of this country and I'm so happy about your emphasis on mental health which Natasha surprisingly seems to know no much about. I'm so surprised for words!!! Anyway it's a free World now and she's allowed her opinions but atleast she's been a decent human being for all the time I've heard or read about her. I hope she's not blinded by privilege in any way, I hope she was genuine about all she said..

26:55 that’s the goal really to be fine even when having negative experiences. And failing to do so is part of what mental illness is; failing to cope, self soothe, have hope, resilience, grit. Sometimes people can’t just be fine 😅😂 then they seek help to reinforce themselves. With self care, community, loved ones, professionals, rehab.

36:27 that’s a tool for mental wellness among a sea of so many.
Was looped into this video by the Sunday Clip 😅
I don’t regret it because she was so open as we all should be about this topic. I never want to disregard people that say they don’t get it. Coz they most certainly do, just as a mere fact of being human. Everyone finds ways to cope with life, even back back in the day, people always had ways of coping. The world has probably just moved a little faster that we were equipped for. so some people might need a little extra help learning to help themselves. Otherwise, we end up on very dark paths.

She is so right about reading the Bible - for oneself. If one does not read the Bible - they leave the gate open for the devil to come in steal, kill, and destroy.
We need to make reading the Bible cool again.

In a country where today majority are struggling with just the cost of living, Mental health issues are not about social media. A topic which needs to be better understood in Uganda. There are so many factors at play with mental health issues. 80% are under 25 and have no tools to cope. Limited guidance because parents are working night and day to barely provide. When you have never struggled to eat or have a secure roof or avoid a sexual predator in your neighbourhood or know where your school fees will come from or have even have relatives consistently taking care of you, it’s so easy to so dismissive. She’s completely detached from real life sadly. However yes, there is a quickness for some to attach every problem to mental health which is a serious problem for some but not all.

To my thinking, adult youths most of them luck mentors or people to encourage them. They may perhaps loss focus on their purpose in life. Our minds are powerful anything you attach to your thoughts it will reflect into your life (Proverbs 23:7). We are magnets, we attract or repel prosperity. What we feel deeply is what we attract so this means if youths are mentally distracted with different negative power. They will focus on obstacles and think of threats, skewed vision they wont be able to control their lives. They will just start to criticize others because of what they're not doing consequently losing focus on their own purpose.
    Thank you!
    Love and Blessings
