Good review. I've always loved single. I learned to ride on Bantams and Francis Barnets and rode many miles when a youngster on a single cylinder Suzuki T100. Since then I've had lots of different bikes form Harleys to a BMW K1600 beast. Got a Hntr last year as a 2nd bike and fell in love again with single pots. My 400 x in the same Kharki green is on order for delivery in June and can't wait. There is a special joy of having a bike that enables you to use the complete rev range and the connection you get with a single cylinder is viceral and engaging.
Already launched in India , planning to get one around june / july (after first production batch is sold out) 🎉 This is way better than all RE 350 cc bike .
@@scoothome was told January, but don’t think that will happen. Have not seen any reviews from US yet so I believe we are all waiting on the same boat.
What is the weight limit on the Triumph 400x ?! I am always confused about the full load weight! Do they count the total weight of the bike + how much on the top or only the load weight without the bike?! Thanx ✌️😎
Unless the engine is in a super high state of tune, there's really no need to worry these days with modern componentry and machining techniques. Wouldn't be rat arsing it 24/7, but if you ride it normally you're pretty golden.
Triumph have cracked it here with this 400cc. Scram.
It's beautiful 😍
It’s good
Now for the tiger 400
Could be Triumph have not mentioned anything

Enjoy it. Bit different to a Harley

Thank. Hope you like the channel
Bacon???
@@CGB65 the best in the world my friend
Did your dealer have an idea as to when? I have a deposit in since Oct, they still have no shipping info.

Great video would like to see the one with the speed 400, How do you think these bikes would cope with 30- 40 kg of camping gear on the back
I guess depends on the weight of the rider and roads, motorway or b roads
Did you say won't be out till November? That can't be right
Sorry recorded last year
@@Chad76Media No worries... I guess there was some review embargo until now

Does it have a quickshifter?
I’ll double check. Not std but maybe an option
When was this recorded? I was under the impression that January was the launch date for the 400s.
Correct. It was recorded a while back but we’re only just been allowed to show
Was this a scoop 4 months ago?
Yeah. Sorry about the timings.
Yesss, give it all ! The motorcycle need the rpm-limiter ... 😂
Have to test it
If it can compete with the 390 they'll sell a bucket load worldwide
I think it will sell well
Ducati would be nervous waiting for that comparison 😅
Nope . This is a tractor compared to the Ducati
@@Interdiction Clearly you've not ridden the scrambler, as that is clearly farm equipment. 😆
Nice looking bike. I wonder how capable off road it is? The new Royal Enfield Himalayan is.
Really good question. The Enfield is more robust, stronger etc. But the Triumph lighter and easier. Be a good comparison test
Not so much. It's more like the street scrambler than the 1200s but for off road.
I cringe a bit when I see content makers thrashing new, un-run-in bikes that will be some ones future pride and joy! Otherwise good review.
Bike was warm, and triumph said ok

Prefer the husky Svartpillen (own a vitpillen) but i bet the trumpet is more comfy.
Testing the new one shortly
