Trusting the Ducati Panigale in the Rain | Adam Child
I took the all-new Ducati Panigale out for a proper wet track test on the rain-soaked Vallelunga Circuit, and let me tell you, it was one of the most intense rides! With the rain pouring down and the track as slippery as it gets, I put my full trust in Ducati's electronics. From traction control to cornering ABS, the bike’s systems were working overtime to keep me upright and in control.
But the real surprise? The onboard data logging captured every moment, allowing me to dive into the numbers afterward and truly understand just how smart this bike is.

Do you have one of the old generation bikes where you could check and see if the new battery will fit in the old chassis? Im looking to get a replacement battery for my 2019 oset 24r and it almost looks like the new style battery will still fit in the old chassis.

Is this a similar thing to what's going on in GP bikes ? If so, Stoner was right when he said 10 or so years ago that this would happen. And rely less on riders' skills, but more on manufacturing development.

although I have no intention of buying such an expensive motorcycle, it is very instructive to look at a review like this. I adore people who know their job (journalistic, editorial..., and certainly also the riding part of the job), keep up the good work.

Hi 👋 sir, I’ m very tempted to get a rs because I fell in love with that, but I have a Duke 890r and I am afraid to be disappointed in terms of sport riding. I love mountain passes and corners. If you have ridden both bikes, may you kindly give me some advices? I'm torn because I'm afraid of trading my eyes for my tail, also considering that my motorbike suffers a significant devaluation, given the economic conditions in which the manufacturer finds itself. Thank you in advance.

If you’re going to switch to a digital dash at least design something aesthetically pleasing like the one found on the Indian FTR, which can even display in an analogue style if you so wish, the Triumph dash looks cheap and dated.

These look great. I don’t mind the idea of a digital clock and love the one on the BMW R12 NineT, but these ones look a bit cheap. Seam fine in use and easy to read etc, just that they already look a bit dated.

I chose the R12 9T over the these bikes because they look too new to be retro. Modern retro but BMW does that language better. The exhausts sound better than the BMW though. It might be different if they had done a new Thruxton.

I feel so conflicted. Should i buy the old v4 that still feels more raw or buy the new v4 that's more like a bmw. I enjoy the bmw but i like jumping on the old v4 more than the bmw because it makes it feel alive and it's the tesla of the world.

Just traded my RR in for one of these as there’s a good saving against if you can find a demonstrator. I test rode one at a bmw day and really enjoyed it. I typically ride sports bikes or hooligan machines (I have an MT10) but really looking forward to bimbling along on the R12 Nine T and throwing it around corners with all that torque. It’s sort of an uncomplicated bike where I’ll just jump on it and ride whereas the sports bikes tend to be an event every time you ride them…

@ difficult almost impossible to answer categorically. All I can say is the ABS intervention isn’t noticeable on the road, not on the front
@@Chad76Media That is good to know. I have a MY2023 S1000R and I'm a bit fed up with the engine character and the looks, and have been eyeing this R12 NineT, but I cannot test ot before ordering it and wanted to make sure the ABS was not overly intrusive (it's my pet peeve). Cheers, mate.

It was good to hear your comments on a bike i bought a couple of months ago. My only criticism of the bike is the gearbox, it’s the worst of any bike I’ve ever ridden. It clunks very loudly from first to second to third and back down, and don’t even think about using the quickshifter in those gears. It’s fine in the top 3, with or without the quickshifter. Apart from that I love everything about it. I bought it from a dealer untested by me because I used to own a R9t several years ago and loved it. Lesson learned!
