White hang tags, bezel protector, coffin carrying case sales receipt, gifts, catalog and Rolex bag are all nice to get but NOT required for considering it a full set. Full set is considered to be watch with links. Warranty card with carrying slot and booklet, watch manual, green or with older watches brown hang tag, green box with cardboard box and outer slip on case.
My AD refused to give me the white hang tag and the bezel protector =( But congratulations that you got so much with the watch 😊

This is completely unacceptable in my eyes. It’s your watch and you have paid for it.
Also. The receipt, with the warranty card and white hang tag are the most important things to have in a set. Those are directory tied to the watch thru the seriel #. Everything else like the box, manuals, coffin, bezel protector all can be bought after as they are interchangeable.
agreed, the warranty card and the white hang tag or in the case of older models, the rectangle green tag that also shows the model and serial numbers are important to have. Other items like you mentioned can be bought or sourced from elsewhere.
Got a pre-owned Rolex, was full-kit and actually purchased from that authorized dealer a couple years back (a discontinued oyster model). They gave me everything including the awesome wallet. The only thing they didn't give me was the Rolex bag. They made it feel like a brand new Rolex purchase which was cool.
It’s funny. I have scheduled an appointment in 10 months because I guess you have to wait that long to get a Rolex nowadays. After watching all these tutorials I think I have single handed my ruined my unboxing experience that I am going to have in 10 months 😭
Having the receipt with a full set is one of the most important things to have that is not often offered with buying thru grey dealers. Lots of people that flip watches to the grey market don't want their private information to be associated with any watch that has been resold so soon after originally purchasing it.
I got everything apart from the white hang tag. I saw the owner put it in my box but wasn't there when I got home. Also a Rolex golfing umbrella. Seen them on line for a $1000au, so a nice gift.
I was fortunate enough to get a Rolex Cologne as a gift. It was a nice gesture for my first purchase.
As well as the catalogue there is a limited number of Rolex Magazines, mine gave me the last 3 editions… I will try to include in my next video
Love your coral red OP. My AD really likes me, but they do not give out bezel protectors or shipping containers. They always include the white hang tag with every Rolex sold. I received the green Rolex pen in your video from my AD when I bought my green dial OP - a nice gift.

I think the SD43 is a shop window watch now at Rolex ADs. There shouldn't be a waiting list because it is trading at or below list price now on the secondary watch market.

It’s good that Rolex ADs don’t charge you extras for the items that come with your brand new watch. I know Apple will charge you extras for any items, that should have been included, when buying a new Apple Watch.

I just purchased a new Submariner 124060 from the AD in USA yesterday.. The Warranty Service Booklet is now different, it is just a two-page leaflet with instructions to look it up online,
The AD no longer provides the white hang tag. Also does not offer the coffin. They freely offered the Rolex Magazine and catalogue for 2023. They also offered a Rolex ball cap, but I declined this.

hey SC, watched your video of course :)! I had also different experiences with the white hang tag. Some dealers really don't care and other are very picky on it. Not exactly sure why some of them make so much drama about it. Maybe the barcode leads back to the store easily?
@@TheDubaiExpat I suspect the Rolex Representative is telling the AD to keep the white hang tag, but I don't know why either.
The only irreplaceable item besides the watch is the white hang tag; arguably the most important accessory for value retention for your Rolex. So absent that, you're better off buying naked from a trusted dealer otherwise. The money saved balances out if you decide to sell down the line 💯💯💯
Not really. It only adds a couple of hundred dollars to the price. Many, many watches are sold without the white hang tag.
@@KC14109 it verifies the watch and watch dial...as very often, if from grey market, a dial swap or some other Frankenstein shenanigans may have occured. It's the only "original" accessory for the watch that you can't really buy elsewhere and best validates the watch; for Rolex models. This fact most influences the resale value I think 🤔
