The Elevate isn't as feature-rich as the new Creta or the Seltos and it also lacks a diesel option. But there are many things that it does really well. Do you agree with our positives & negatives?

The callout about the noise was really spot-on. It starts sounding gruff at decent RPMs. With better cabin insulation that could have been filtered out from entering the cabin. Really hope Honda is listening. But otherwise, it's a great all-rounder car.

    • @Raveendhana

I would say which not everyone will agree that is, honda have gone practical with its elavate, by not offering the hybrid or a diesel or a turbo, eg Honda been selling 4300 units of NA, and the market is revolving around the NAs, and hyundai even won't admit that it's their NAs that sell more, and their automatics are costly for many, yes Honda has targeted practicality here.

@@Raveendhana yes its best vfm in segment. i booked nexon for slightly less price but switched to elevate. coz im looking for comfort, value and reliability. The look of elevate is not too loud but bold and does stand out from the crowd. I never understood the idea of ventilated seats and 360 degree camera as negatives. although honda can bring a new model having it with hybrid for those seeking it.

I have booked vx mt red variant and will be receiving it next week according to the showroom. Imo 360 camera and front parking sensors would have been nice to deal with the larger dimensions, especially since our neighborhood has very cramped streets. Tpms is another miss but it can be installed for just 2k so those who need it can get it. I am quite satisfied with the price to features ratio. However i do feel the interior of lower variants look quite inferior to the top variant. The tan looks gorgeous and elegant. The beige looks a bit bland.

Nice video, thank you! Watching here with expectation of Honda Elevate (here will be X-RAY-V) launch hopefully later this year. It seems like your version there in India is lacking the bit more performance & assesories to attract a younger buyer to this introductory vehicle. As you mentioned, I also would like to have many of the offerings that the Seltos & Nexon have in the Elevate. Plus, a turbo option of course with rear disk breaks & 18” wheels. I wouldn’t mind paying for all those. Here in Brazil, what comes closest to this package is the HR-V Touring & Advance. This similar-sized SUV is a real joy to drive! However, the multimedia seems to be left over from the 90s. As well, while offering a similar ground clearance, the undercarriage is invaded by low hanging exhaust, muffler & a few other parts. Honda have then protected these exposed parts with added exposed steel bars which lower the effective ground clearance while not reassuring that these parts are well protected. In contrast, the Elevate has a clean undercarriage. Let’s see what they come up with here. And hopefully, the next generation or facelift of the Brasil HR-V will improve in these areas. Cheers ☀️

Creta will be city friendly, if you are more into handling as a criteria then elevate, elevate with its 220mm gc, it handles great with less body roll can say a VW like handling in the form of Honda, and the ivtec is the powerful NA of its segment revs upto to 7000rpm,
As for creta it's known for its rear seat width where it can seat three easily,
But elevate compensate it with a longer knee room with as it's wheelbase is more than creta. And creta offers 6 airbags as standard, as elevate offers only two but it's build is based on city which is 5 star rated, and as for creta it's 3 but the lastest one is expected to score 4-5. In a way creta will be turned towards comfort like the way it handles and the suspension too

Elevate's pricing is messed up so is the line up, their top end variant the zx only has ADAS and the below that the VX variant i can see the people will go for the VX just for the sunroof then coming down the line and V and SV the only difference between these two is a few entertainment systems and rear defogger etc nothing significant. It is like we can either go for the zx variant or the SV variant and customize it. Then again when you go up the price of ZX of the elevate the competition is providing much more for that price range. Honda needs to bring down the cost of the elevate and see what they are providing as accessories. In the honda city which is just 12 lakhs has ADAS and both are honda cars and elevate is made on city platform and yet none of the low end variants gets any more than 2 airbags or ADAS which is a complete disappointment. It is like your safty only matters if you are rich kind of attitude. I don't think going for the elevate at this time is a wise decision if it was me i will wait for them to make changes in their current line ups and make it more VFM then it would be the best buy otherwise its an overpriced product as the competition is giving more.

Stop comparing with Sektos, Cretan and GV. They look more bugger and obout features....it's way behind

But they are all part of the same segment as the Elevate, aren't they?

@@reinhardmoses5224 Honda elevate is a good car except the Mileage Part. Honda should have brought Hybrid option to India. Wait for next release. I wouldnt recommend Kia or Hyundai, I own a Kia and it has issues related to quality of parts. I have unresolved issues for months and now I think I have to go to consumer court. Better option is Hyryder.
