    You guys asked for game dogs, well here you go GAME DOGS! I met up with Oliver De La Cruz at his weekly training session for weight pulling. And low and behold there were some 9 time game dog weight pulling champions there to work out. Well even though game dogs weren't the plan I made it happen cause I knew the BBATV audience would appreciate seeing something working.

    If those dogs didn't want to pull, they wont pull. Arguments end right there.
    But these dogs love it. They Eat Good. They Train Good.
    They Work out better than most you haters complain about.
    If dogs were all trained like this, they're overall health status would be good.
    If they can't pull, well... simply they cant pull.
    Military dogs don't get training like this, but they go through harsh environments,
    harsh environments haters/complainers should do best... Hate and complain.
    People(aka Human Beings) Work out too at extreme ways too. Dogs can too.
    And they love it.

      If they didn't want to pull, they wouldn't pull? They pull, because they're trained to pull. Don't be stupid. Dogs will do whatever you train them to. Manipulation of animals for personal accolades is fucking retarded, end of story.

    What a lot of people who are speaking negatively about this don't know is that the APBT lives for this. Loves to work and loves to test oneself. This is why the UKC approves this competition and why they have always approved it. This is the work that the APBT did for the homesteaders when the immigrants from Ireland and the UK migrated to the US. Not to mention that 99% of these dogs are treated like Gods. Fed like champions and loved as if it were a child. Hell, I would bet that the dogs we see in this video are treated better than most humans. The love and devotion that goes into these dogs is epic and truly amazing and the negative comments and ignorant viewers are pathetic at best.

      What they don’t understand is the apbt is a pitbull, THE ONLY PITBULL breed their is
      So they don’t realize those American bullies that can’t run more then 5 minutes without falling over n dying aren’t what these dogs are
      They need to learn what a pitbull is (apbt) before they speak on these subjects

    • @Weirdanimalboy
      @Weirdanimalboy 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally, I don't like it. The American Bully and the APBT have worked so hard to separate from each other it wouldn't make since to mush them back again, that's just my opinion. But it does produce some good weight-pullers, but that's really only if it retains the gameness of the APBT.

    • @DogumentaryTV
      @DogumentaryTV  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I would just asked why? What American bully dogs are being used and what game dogs are being used? Are the puppies healthy and serve a sustainable purpose? These are all questions that I would need answered to have an opinion on the subject correctly. But on the face of it, I think its a bad idea. And I don't have a problem with mixing breeds, it happens all the time, I just believe that it has to be done with sound purpose.

    If I can get my hands on a small pitbull that would be great. Having a high strung working German dog is exhausting. My wife and I can't cope with some of the dogs I've worked with. I don't like the English bulldog breed and the American bully is like a poorly breed Stafford shire terror. I can't get a staff as easily as I can get a small game bread. 30 lbs small enough to take with me and even backpack, but mighty enough to tackle anything relentlessly.

      People do pull weights. Never heard of strongman sleds?
      And just as people need exercise to be healthy, so do dogs. In the wild, a predator would get exercise by taking down some prey. For people who don't go hunting with dogs, weight pulling is a mighty fine exercise.
