Thanks for making & posting this great video. I am actually considering a 2018 or 2019 XTS, however I am now learning that this air suspension compressor going bad prematurely is a "known issue" with them. Here in Europe, Cadillac never sold the XTS model, so there are likely no parts for an XTS in Europe, and very little know-how. To change the compressor looks very convoluted, reminds me of the mess involving work on Audis and Mercedeses. Somehow I don't think that on a 4-5 years old Gensis or Lexus one would need to be concerned about changing air compressors. I guess if it is not Cadillac XTS, then I will get a used Lincoln. Sadly, Lincolns are not being sold in Europe at all. What a bummer.

I watched your video, (great Job by the way) Installed my compressor. It ran, filled the air bags, but wouldn't shut off. I may have installed the lines backwards. Now the Solenoids on the compressor will not send air to the air bags. Any suggestion on a scan tool that will reset/ diagnose the suspension?

I had changed the air suspension bags and the compression and it still won’t air up any advice?

Double check the work to make sure it's all correct. Then check the height level sensors to see if they are working or not

Hello I have a 2014 XTS, how did you know you had air compressor. What was the symptoms?

The car would lose air/ wouldn't air up intermittently. Then it was just stuck all the way aired down.

Hey I installed a brand new compressor and that was the problem but now my car is riding too high in the back is there an adjustment?

Check your hoses. You may have switched them around, as they are side specific. I had the same issue when i first installed it, and that was the problem.

What did u do with the black hose that was hanging

That is the exhaust/air relief hose. Just pulled it off the niple and replaced it when we swapped the compressor.

Awesome, but how do you control the air on the airbag after it is installed? I have learned it must be at a certain level before anything else otherwise it would blow the airbag. Thank you!

No need to control anything. The system is self leveling

Yep! No programming necessary. Just make sure the lines are installed on the correct side (label/ mark them before removal)

That’s what I’m considering at the moment because my compressor is on the Frits and this is a known issue with my 2014 xts
