I'm in the situation I genuinely don't have answers to many of these either because the thing they're asking about never happened or I just can't remember because I didn't record it into a journal. I used to auto forward work emails to my gmail, perhaps I can comb through the thousands upon thousands of those to find something.
I am having the same struggle! I am pretty sure I have lots of good stories but I can't seem to remember the details anymore so I had to do a lot of digging from the past. Thanks to email archive and conversation history! Something I would advise everyone regardless if you are preparing for an interview or not, RECORD SIGNIFICANT CAREER STORIES INTO A JOURNAL!!! It will definitely be useful someday!!!
Tell me about a time when your manager didnt agree to you but you felt that you were right. I always had cool managers and never had conflict with them. How do you respond to this ? I honestly dont have an answer to this.

Hi Dan! Very useful tips and processes to not get into a tough situation. Do you believe that even after not having the answer for few questions, would someone still have a just to proceed on the next stage or even get the position?
@@DanCroitor Hi Dan. I am in middle of my loop. How many behavioural questions are asked typically in 1 interview of an hour? I am being asked 8-9 questions. Should I actively try to limit it to 4-5 by giving detailed response?

I am a java developer with one year experience and I have an interview coming up with Amazon in few days for CSE role. I have small business that I took care for an year by selling jewelry. Can I talk about that business situation for few behavioural questions?
It's all about the context. Usually you must answer questions with examples from your work related field, however, if you feel that some other type of work would better emphasise the behavior they're after, then you should definitely use it.
I doubt it, showcase a skill which seems relevant to the job which you applied for. I may be an excellent cook, but probably I won't mention it to the next recruiter at Amazon!
This just happened to me. I was asked what was my most impressive project. I just drew a blank. I paused for awhile and the interviewer just said she’d asked another one. I’m doomed lol
On the router question, speaking as a network engineer I would say it's very risky to mess around on a platform you are not very familiar with especially in a production network. Those of you who have experience with the dreaded "switch port trunk allowed vlan" command or the awful VTP protocol will know what I'm talking about. You are basically 3 letters or one switch add away from blowing up the whole layer 2 network.
I don't have answers to the "failure" questions because I don't see my failures as failures. When I get rejected for a job or don't get the grade I wanted, it's seriously not a failure for me, I just go on with life...
I feel like my first big failure in life will be my Interview at Amazon.
keep me posted!
me too! best of luck.
Don’t worry. You will not be alone. I just have my first big failure in life with Amazon. Good luck to you!
Great practice for when you succeed at it the next time!

hmm ... i have lot of examples as I had all bad managers in my life. Problem is it always
ended up in fights :)
For apology situation, can I use a situation where I apologize for one of my team members mistake? or does it have to be for my own mistake?
Your own

Dan, thank you! Very helpful content. One small correction, though. In English one should say/pronounce “ASA router” and not “ASA ruter”.
Shabat, that's not necessarily true. In British-English and Hiberno-English we would pronounce it "roo-ter"
@@killianfitzpatrick8115 True that. Thanks for letting me know. In GB and rest of Europe the 'ruter' is the word.

that's actually not a bad answer (although I'd be careful with the situation I'd pick to be relevant for the role I'm applying for)
So you don't learn from your mistakes and you don't grow and improve
