I picked up World/Iceborne (my first MH game) late 2019 and your older videos helped tremendously when I was starting out. I'm glad that you're still making these videos because I barely picked up rise/sunbreak just a few days ago.
Im honestly very impressed I stumbled upon this hoping to find some reddit post on google explaining progression to me, this is phenomenally detailed and high effort content, I really doubt I'll often watch videos from you unless you coincidentally make something I want/need but your content is amazing so I'm subscribing.

@@RecommendedPlaying Then you should at the very least have a quick aside to say "Slugger looks appealing for the hammer, but..." so newer players know *why* it's not worth taking.
I tell you the gear I think is worth taking in the video. You can infer that everything else I would consider actively bad, or not worth taking.

I won't lie, 20% into the video I shut it off because I got anxiety due to the complexity of this game. The video is extremely well put together and done, so its not the channel or the narrator (who is very good) its just that this game is extremely intimidating. At first I hated the game, now I'm slowly getting into my stride with the hammer, stunning more and actually hitting. Its rewarding but again... does fill you with anxiety as you start to delve deeper.
Theres a lot of stuff in monster hunter but realistically you can just use whatever you think looks cool if thats what you want. This goes a lot more into detail of whats good overall. I agree that Monster Hunter really needs to cull down a lot of extraneous stuff because it's just a lot.

This game is so convoluted ! Is ridiculous that I bought a game to have fun but to understand this game is like going to work!! Why si obtuse? Not even the portable ones were so damn convoluted
