Summer wedding at a rustic farm in Warwick, New York

Having been at two of the D’Angio‘s weddings as a guest and another two as their photographer so, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. It’s always nice to get out of town/ Traveling to Warwick, New York to photograph at a new venue could be a challenge, but Zachary and Jahdai we’re so laid-back and just wanted to have fun with their closest friends and family. We started doing some shots of them getting ready. There was such nice light in the farmhouse to get some nice portraits and document them getting ready. They chose to do all the pictures of the family prior to the ceremony so that they could enjoy the cocktail hour. The ceremony took place looking over the wide open field. It’s always nice when a friend conducts the ceremony as they know the couple so well. You tell how much thought and effort went into getting the venue to look right. All the details were so well thought out, from place cards to the room's setup and floral arrangements at the ceremony site. It made my job easy to photograph the space. It was truly a great place to have a wedding. We took some time to walk around the grounds and got some fun imagery of the two of them incorporating the rustic feel of the venue. The rest of the night was filled with fun and laughter. They even got an amazing sunset. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
