  • As soon as I pulled up to Fern Hill Barn and saw Noah and Erin having such a good time with their bridal party, I knew we were in for a good day. They did not disappoint. The guys were putting the hoopa together while the bridesmaids were getting their hair and make up done in the spa. Most brides would’ve been very upset if they knew one of the buttons on their dress broke, but Erin laughed it off. It was great to be on the other side of the house the document the guy struggling to find all their clothes and figure out, how to put their suspenders on. They did their first look and all the pictures of the family and bridal party prior to the ceremony so that they can get back and enjoy their cocktail hour. I really enjoy the Jewish ceremony as there is so much to photograph. Whether it be the breaking of the glass, the motzi or the hora you are almost guaranteed to get some great shots. It was really nice that Josh’s father conducted the ceremony as he could add a personal touch. We took a couple more shots of the two of them with them getting the reflection in the pond and the rustic terrain. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and a really great dance crowd. It was the perfect combination of the candid photo journalistic imagery, combined with some great portraits. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
