I've been feeling like I'm moving into a new chapter too! The idea of doing it slowly feels great! My daughter just turned 4 and going to a new school in the fall. Time for a new role at work so I've been applying for new opportunities, new health and exercise routines too. Excited to bring newness into my wardrobe too, loved this!

I love love your capsule wardrobe. I think that animal print skirt from Olive is in their website again or something very similar. Changes wise... When I moved from tiny town in England to beautiful Edinburgh I have decided to bring only favourite clothes with me. It's such a difference!! Every day now I feel like real me. It's absolutely a game changer. Also, I have a lots more compliments how nice my style is. Each new piece in my wardrobe need to be feminine, comfortable/ breathable and ideally floral.
I’ve realised that the shape of clothing I wear has changed. I have decluttered a lot of long tunics that I hadn’t worn for over two years. I’ve limited the number of colours and the shape of the things I wear. I don’t need anything new at the moment as I have a much better and clearer idea of what looks good on me now. All the greys, black and yellow clothes have gone. I wear jeans every day so I took a skirt and a dress to the thrift shop. I don’t think it’s quite a capsule yet but at least I can see what enjoy wearing now 😊
I love your capsule wardrobe videos. I have also been going through a style transformation these past six months, triggered by having my third baby and realising I have a permament change to my body shape that I have been unable to change. It's been really hard to accept the new me that looks older and rounder in areas I'm not used to.

I can only imagine how hard that is, though I have a friend who's had a baby recently and says she's never felt more confident in her body because the way she sees it, she's created life from it and that makes her feel really proud. I’ve been making lots of changes in my wardrobe because I’ve become enamored with “seasonal color analysis.” I’ve self determined I’m a ‘summer’ Since I had a small and well worn wardrobe already… the timing was perfect.

Hi Jess, some lovely questions to ask ourselves about our clothes in this video. I wondered, though, if you xould have added another category...as well as donate/recycle/sell, what about repair? Its a real shame that youre getting rid of the skirt you said you love just because of a pull. Learning how to look after and mend clothes is such an important and lovely skill to learn. It makes our faves last longer and also gives our clothes and the peolme who made them the love they deserve! Ive loved learning how to hem, darn, replace a zip and sew up tears recently.
Lovely soft colours in your capsule collection, and some really beautiful clothes. I'm honestly not sure how you get by with so few t-shirts/tops? You seem to only have two and got rid of one! I think I need at least 7 tops (not jumpers). I'd love to cut down my wardrobe a bit. I've too many scruffy bits for cleaning/stay-at-home days.

I loved the vlog so much. I think it is truly important to wear clothes you love. I can tell i feel better and more confident and it cuts the decision fatigue. Im working through your simplified wardrobe ebook but will have to finish decluttering when im home again. Presently wearing minimal clothing capsule as i spend 1 month in Panama. lol I hardly have any now. Literally I have one basket for yoga pants and my hoodie then another for ballet shoes and leotard. that's all. horse riding stuff lives in my mum's garage now because I still don't feel done with that part of my life

It is very scary. I am moving from Trinidad and Tobago to Japan, and i feel excited but nervous. I have all these questions about if i will like it etc, but i am embracing it. I need to audit my wardrobe. I have 25pieces for casual wear (12 for work and 5 for formal), but since i am changing climate, i need to sort that out. i also find i feel overwhelmed and obsessive with my clothes, so i feel having even less will help....maybe
I have too much in my closet. We have four seasons here so I need to have all the necessities. I know I’m holding on to too much and frustrate myself. I use shopping as an emotional crutch even though I’m constantly giving away clothing items to keep it under control. I guess I lack the necessary self discipline.

Love the new items, are you still on the lookout for anything else? In terms of style change, when I stopped with my corporate job and became a fulltime stay at home mom, I had to sell and give away 95% of my clothing. It was definitely emotional journey. I also realized that I don't like typical casual "mom at home " things, so I am still searching. But there is definitely a lot of emotion...

I took it to a tailor and they said it was dead 😭 but yes repairing is always preferable if you love the piece and want to keep
