    Also, I recommend brushing your teeth BEFORE you cleanse since toothpaste/saliva can be very irritating to your skin. And if you use leave-in hair products and don’t wash your hair every night, you should probably properly cleanse your face in the morning if you’re breaking out. These could be factors to why you might be having breakouts.

    I dont usually comment but I found you few days ago and you are litterally saving me ! All of your videos are so informative, clear, loving the way you repeat a short summary of everything, for each need etc. I've finally started my skincare journey and I really love watching everything. I am so lost and you make it so easier and interesting ! You have such a good vibe and energy it feels like your whole being is truly sincere and friendly. I had so many questions atfer some other youtubers video, and here you're answering it all ! Keep going ! By the way I love when you're focusing on one subject (one brand, one product type, one step like cleansing) so informative. Hi from France and Cambodia !

    This was such a thorough video about the basics of cleansing and I really appreciate you even going through the steps of how you prefer to cleanse your face, like starting at your t-zone first and working your way out. It's such a good tip, especially for combo/oily skin folks :) Loved it!

    I'm a makeup lover so I always take cleansing seriously. I prefer balms to oils as I wear a lot of eye makeup and liquid lipsticks, so oil cleansers just don't cut it, no even the DHC one. I love balms especially the Farmacy, Heimish, BoJ and Duo one. I live in England but in the North west and the water here is soft, while down south around London etc. is hard, so I'm lucky in that way. I just use a cream cleanser in the morning, I love Kose cleansing milk and Sana nameraka cleansing cream. I couldn't just use water though, as I feel like I need to wash off sweat and touching my pillow from overnight

      Thanks for the recommendations. I'm similar with wearing lots of makeup. I haven't found an oil cleansing that doesn't require a cotton swab to get my foundation off so I'm hunting for better options

    just curious, but when you only rinse with water in the morning, ur leaving all the serums and moisturizer on ur face from the night before, applying more serum and SPF on top, and it doesn't clog the pores?

    • @acidx5053
      @acidx5053 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      that’s what i’m thinking, i guess as long as the products are non-comedogenic it wont clog pores

    Tina! Would you be willing/able to do a video on the best makeup products with spf in them (for a full face of spf products)? I saw someone do that with American products (foundation, blush, bronzer, concealer all had spf in them), but I assume Japan (or Korea??) probably has way more advanced products than we do in the US! Is there SPF makeup over there, and if you find it could you review it? Thank you❤️

    I tried not cleansing my face in the morning and I just could not stick to it at all because my skin still feels oily after washing it with water alone...
    Doing my morning skincare routine without cleansing does not feel right for me >< All those trapped sebum/oils not being removed while I apply my morning skincare is just... unhygienic. Sorry I wish I could relate to people who rave about not cleansing in the morning. But for my skin type, it does not feel comfortable.

    • @rockerchic363
      @rockerchic363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I can’t do it either (I must do a morning cleanse) and I have very oily, acne-prone skin. If I didn’t use cleanser in the morning, then my skin is still oily and I can’t at least give the breakouts a proper cleanse.

  • @Siberius-

    I had never come across the information that Australia generally has hard water until now. I am in Queensland, so the water here is at the very lower end of "hard". Then you have water in like, a lot of the US, Canada, and particularly the UK that is just terrible. Victoria water is freakishly soft.
    Our taxes should go to getting water treatment facilities to soften water. They can, it's just not "cost effective". No one wants hard water. Also if you're in an apartment you're generally just shit out of luck, and based on the economy of scale, it's FAR more money to have every individual building soften it's own water, and upkeep that system each year (also costs money in various ways to NOT have the water softened).
