PRORASO always was, is and will always be one of the most important CORNERSTONES of the World of GENTLEMEN'S GROOMING, and one of the SHINING STARS in the SHAVING SCENE. KUDOS to them.
You cannot go wrong with Proraso . This is all I use, and will use in the future as long as the quality and price continues. Classic green line for me ;)
Love Proraso started with the green after shave, now have the red shaving cream with the white after shave cream. Great products my face feels great after a shave. Just an FYI I use a Heated Gillette razor and it's worth the money.
I have tried all and I stand on the Red, a tube cost about 10usd last long enough and smells amazing. Nothing I have used in the past 5 years compares to how my skin feels after a shave with Proraso! I do however find that Nivea cooling balm pairs perfectly than Proraso balm .

Proraso red was my very first shaving soap. I will never be without it. The only one I haven’t tried is the white. I know traditional wet shavers tend to shun canned foams but Proraso makes those too, including a yellow line that is made with cocoa butter and smells wonderful. They only make the yellow in foam; I wish they would expand it to soaps and creams.
I absolutely adore Proraso. It is one of those “comfort food” shaving products for me. I just had a wonderful shave with the entire white sensitive line and the classic Gillette 1959 Red Tip super speed with a Gillette Platinum blade and the Proraso boar brush. Effortless shave, one pass and a few pick ups on the neck as always and zero irritation.
Proraso Green cream was my second soap/cream. My first was a hard puck and I struggled to nail down lathering. Got a tube of Proraso and pinned that lathering down quickly. I’ve killed two tubes and it’s my first recommendation for anyone looking to get into wetshaving.
I picked up a set of Proraso Green products and an Omega brush many years ago in a local Italian deli. Love the shave it provides and it’s still featured in my rotation.
Proraso is the very first shaving products I give as gifts for people who want something different or are new to the Wet Shave world. It is one of the best.
Like most wet shavers I have an impressive collection of soaps and creams. I switch back and forth between the British guys (the three T's) and Italy. Proraso offers amazing value for your buck and it is available at the corner pharmacy. Try it, youll like it!
Proraso Green was my first shave soap and still one of my all-time faves. There is hardly a week that goes by when I don't use Proraso Green. So refreshing and such a great scent.
Just started out wet shaving. Started with the full Sensitive line to be on the safer side. Definitely going to try the original Green line, it really speaks to me!
@@richardnash1079 Hello sir: the brands I mentioned are known as the "three T’s" in the shaving product industry, all of them are classic British shaving brands. I wouldn’t say they are “better” than proraso, but they are certainly more luxurious, which means higher quality ingredients, fancier functions and more complex fragrance, etc. If you just start your wet shaving journey I think proraso is good enough, but if you wanna explore something more then you can’t miss the “three T’s”. You can find more information about these brands in Matt’s channel

Just used Proraso Green this morning. Kamisori shave, bloomed the soap, used the green splash after. Really refreshing and yes, ideal for beginners (just be mindful, the soap doesn't need much water at all).
Matt, You are right about Proraso being a great first shave soap or cream for new traditional shavers. I find the green to be a bit too strong, but their other products are great! I tend to favor the small artisans (like yourself) nowadays, but Proraso is a solid pillar and provides good glide and cushion.

I live in Colombia, I get the green kit, which comes with the shaving cream, pre and after shave, and loved it, I really want to try the red one but shipping is not available for Colombia specifically for the red one.
Proraso classic pre-shave and cream are my go to products (I literally finished shaving with them minutes before seeing this in my feed). Thanks for the video!
I spent two weeks in Italy a couple of months ago and every single supermarket, including the discount supermarkets, supplied Proraso. But they weren't as cheap as I expected them to be. they’re basically the same prices as you will get them at any European outlet that sells it. Proraso red is my favourite but most of the Italian supermarkets only did the green
Thanks, Matt. I really enjoy your product line videos. Red is my favorite, but I also have Green for those hot days when I want to feel cool and refreshed. I wasn't aware of the Blue and might have to pick it up. I will probably purchase the White for my son, who has sensitive skin.
Great video! I have the Proraso white and it does seem to help with the irritation, the smell is ok and the lather building is also ok. The price is perfection!
Hey Matt great video on Proraso.i absolutely love Proraso Sandalwood Cream and I use the Sensitive Skin pre shave Cream before my shave 9times out of 10 it’s superb also.Proraso is a must in everyone’s shave Den pick it up guys 👌🙌🙂
I started with Proraso white cream, but somehow didn't connect with it. Now I use local stuff. General advice: You can also have a look at your local manufacturers. It can be often cheaper and not worse or even better than major brands
Out of all retail commercial manufacturers (TOBS, The Art of Shaving, Truefitt & Hill), Proraso is my absolute favorite and the only one I honestly use. Ever since Matt's first videos I saw on using Proraso products (specifically in the White Line), I got the pre-shave and post-shave balm and they have been my most used shaving products in my routine. The "Proraso White Shaving Soap in a Bowl" was also quite good, but not really my thing. Proraso Red is also quite good, too! Just a great line of products that you can't go wrong with in achieving an optimal shave.
green (refreshing) aftershave is nice, cools really nice in summer and have great content but smell fade after 30mins is red (nourishing) aftershave better in that regard?
Proraso was the first "non-American" shave product I got way back in the day. Must have been in the sixties/seventies IDK but it was great then and it's great now.
Finally tried Proraso in the tube...aloe and E. Fantastic stuff. Liked it so much that I ordered the pre shave to go with it. I saw that there is also a lime/apple scent. Is that right?
As I was just getting started in wet shaving I'm pretty sure I remember a video from Mantic59 that said something like "if you can find Proraso buy it", and that's what I did. My first internet order for shaving was for Proraso sandlewood soap and green tree and oat balm. And, I think, a Merkur 34C. How can you go wrong! I think I used that for at leaat six months lol
Classics are classics for a reason. Especially the aftershaves (green and red), are a benchmark in their category, and the scent...let's just say that I would like to have an eau de toilette version in both. I just love them! On another note, it's a shame that Proraso discontinued the 'single blade' line. The quality was several steps above the normal blue, red, white, and green line.
I started with Proraso red as i love sandalwood and it's my fave, buti rotate in the white and green. The blue one smells terrible to me, never bought that one again 😅
I just bought the green line shaving cream and aftershave. Love the aftershave. The shaving cream not so much. As you said it smells medicinal and I don’t enjoy it. Was hoping for more of a menthol feel and smell. Any suggestions in this line that achieves this profile?
I can't use the Green or the White...for whatever reason it irritates my skin. The White less so than the Green but nonetheless it irritates, and it puzzles me as it is for sensitive skin... The Red and the Blue work really, really well. I am not a fan of the scent of the Red, but it is extremely slick. The Blue is my fav of the bunch.
I love Proraso Red! First ‘real’ shave product. There is a major difference between shaving foam, soap and cream. I bought the shaving cream, not the soap. Serious wet shavers need to try Proraso!
Wet-Shaver yes, and missed knowing of Proraso initially; and then too many other choices for the next order of shaving soaps. So far, still have not tried any Proraso. If I could find it in a local retail store, then maybe I'll try. If not then, who knows when!!
Yes! My first serious shaving products paired with a single blade razor. I'm using the white line with great pleasure. Interested to try the blue as well! 💚 ♥️ 🤍 💙
The products you can't go wrong with
1000%❤
Proraso green is where is started and I still love it.
PRORASO always was, is and will always be one of the most important CORNERSTONES of the World of GENTLEMEN'S GROOMING, and one of the SHINING STARS in the SHAVING SCENE.
KUDOS to them.
Fact!
Italian classics.❤
Eternal memory to Ludovico Martelli.🙏🕊
The green just smells so clean. And, it leaves my face feeling really good and smooth.
I love the green post-shave splash. One of my faves

I've used Proraso red for many years, and keep coming back to it. It's a classic!
I've started with the Proraso Red and can't wait to try the rest. Just love it. Grazie mille Signore Martelli
The first products I bought went I got into wet shaving. Still use it.

Came across a tube of The Sandalwood was intrigued by the packaging. This started me on Journey to Wet shaving.

Appreciate it!
Love is in the air!
Absolutely love proraso products especially the green and red line
Proraso Green. Vintage, Classic, Timeless....

For me it's the Red, I love their take on sandlewood.
I will take their Sandlewood over any other. Bright spicy and clean. Never soapy.
Its like Big Mac. So many tasty burgers that come and go but you always go back to that special sauce. Proraso Green is my favorite that I return to.
You got that right!
The balm was one of the first product I ever tried over 10 years ago and it still has a prominent place in my rotation.
I started out with the Proraso Green line and it's still a firm favourite having a spot within my rotation. Just love it!
I normally use Cella but just ordered my first tub of Proraso red today. I can't wait to try it.
Good choice!

Proraso white was my first shave soap
I have TOBS, Trumper and Truefitt & Hill products, but I still keep Proraso in my closet, definitely one of my favourite shaving brand!
Sir: I have recently started with Proraso. Are the products you mentioned more up-scale or better in some ways? Thank you for your knowledge.

I love Proraso! Especially love the Sandlewood!!!
Wow it is a classic. Definitely my favorite. What I use for ever shave. I think I’ve tried most of it. Add it to my Rex Envoy that since close shave.
Love their products
❤ The white formula was my first great product
So good!
This was one of my first shaving cream purchases when I started wet shaving. I have the Italian flag trifecta, green white and red lines.
My first traditional wet shaving products were Proraso Green shave soap and pre shave cream 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing!
Proraso Green was definitely my first soap amd aftershave. It’s definitely nice in the summer when it’s hot.
