EAE is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies out there along with Black Mass Electronics and Holy Island Audio. What a bunch of great and talented human beings.
It's amazing how much this guy and his team have inspired me to make music thanks to the effect pedals they make. Just about every drive pedal they've put out seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Actually, pedal makers all live in a single massive complex in the Nevada desert, connected by a series of 3 foot tunnels. When they mention locations like "Long Island" or "California", they're just referring to the names they've given their barracks.
I love that Emily going into the goblin hole in her closet to Fast Travel, feels like Mr. Rodger’s going to The Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Except yours takes you to places with 420, 69, and 666 pedals.
Great episode. The harp played through the amp wall was something else. What playing with massive amps will teach you is....with great power comes great responsability ;-) . It tells you what the audience will eventually listen to and experience.
I bought the dagger and loved it! It was a great step up until I could afford the Longsword BUT I planned to get it again for bass...makes me sad I won't be able to get it again. . .
"I wish they taught this stuff in school..." Oh yes, I feel that. I studied classical guitar performance in uni. A couple of years into playing electric in a loud band our sound person told me that I should get a Roland JC120. Eventually I tried one and loved it, dragged that beast up many a stair thereafter. It wasn't until years after I was past gigging and TH-cam gear channels were a thing that I finally realised why he recommended the Jazz Chorus. I never used the distortion from an overdriven amp. I had no idea that that was what most folks were doing to get their distortion tone. I gigged for nearly a decade (I've got the tinnitus to prove it) and somehow that bit of information had escaped me. I'm not the sharpest C in the scale...
Braaaaaaad! I've got one of his pedals from his other company Nerd Knuckle, and in a weird coincidence we very nearly lived in the same place about 10 years apart
Sending is a spell that, you’d think would be Almost a Waste - a third level spell to send a psychic message only 25 words long?? And yet My fav character from Critical Role, Jester - she managed to turn it into a tool for psychological torment LMAO
Foot control is essential to live performance where both hands are occupied - but the nature of the hardware will always change. And that's ok, what we do will also change.
SUCH a good time. I'm glad we caught so many laughs on camera. You two are welcome back literally any time 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
And you're such a good dude, John! Love your presence in this community!!
You know how it is *me: I thought I did 😅*
I remain poised with credit card in hand for that Stereo Prismatic Wall presale, John.
Heck, you could even call it Prismatic Sphere. It works!
Mr. Snyder, how did you find that place in the back of Emily's closet? It's like having your shop in musical Narnia!
Fantastic location.
the Mr Rogers style crawling through a hole to get to remote locations is the best running gag
The Lion, The Witch and the Pedal Closet

I'm starting to realize Russ and Emily have portals in their apartment, and I can't help but wonder how much the complex charges for those amenities.

pretty sure there's a portal to Goth Egg's. Just a matter of time
Most leases have an insane cleaning deposit for transpacial portals

Beholder is one of my all time favorite pedals and hasn't left my board in forever

John is the best kind of nerd. I love my Halberd like I love my Level 1 Spells.
John endorsed the phrase “fuck gain” on public record. I’m not sure I can move past that.
Of my many transgressions, this is the most grave
1:58 unwound appreciation 🤝
2:18 there's always money in the banana stand....

BUT
I planned to get it again for bass...makes me sad I won't be able to get it again. . .
Dammit I wanna know about the interpolation methods they're using!
Is this another step towards this channel become Pedal Fraggle Rock?
I mean that as a compliment.
EAE is one of those companies from whom I could (and probably will) buy every single pedal. I loved this behind the scenes look!
Along with "basketball" I love the way Emily says "cabs" 😊🎉❤
I didn't know there was trigonometry in pedals
sound waves is math brother
Now I need a one-shot with Emily and Russ playing and John as DM 🥹
Love to see the Pile shout out! Any chance you’ll try out Mirror House?
G-cray has entered my lexicon

EAE gotta be one of the coolest newer pedal companies. Long Sword is my favorite OD ever.
Is John the nicest person in pedal building? It certainly seems that way.
Ah yes, another entry in the "Emily crawls into random corners of her room to reemerge in some engineers working space" cinematic universe

02:11, a Fae Dads pose?! That's crazy.
what the hell bridge is on that "drone, not drones" guitar?
I believe that's the THRD by Robot Graves
Thank you!
Pile poster spotted.

Totally missed that one when was around- 😢
This is the best pedal developer

Epic Experiments. 😁 And how much did that Portal cost? We need one over here. 😆🐀
Wo this video is so good I just have to say the highlight was the fea dads fridge pose ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What she is saying about Hypersleep I also feel about the EQD Zap Machine. Had one. Miss it
The money is IN the banana stand!!!! 🍌🍌🍌
10:00 what’s type of guitar is that with the weird bridge?
It's a robotgraves THRD bridge.

That's a Robot Graves THRD
Can we have a link to their jobs section please?
Unwound is essential listening, friends

And yet
My fav character from Critical Role, Jester - she managed to turn it into a tool for psychological torment LMAO
Jester rocks!
Also the name is somewhat of a double reference to the spell and to Garth Nix's Abhorsen series, which is some excellent fantasy.
why did i think that was chad from cold ones
This is a fun vid!
updates!
No Faedads, what?
cool idea, love to visit EAE! 😊
Tube harp goes didgeridoo almost
Sick guitar pedal necklace everyone should order one from Our Lady of Static
#shamelessplug
Are you friends with dunkey??
9:14 LOL players actually reading the PHB
AMPS ARE FOR GUITARS, GRRR ARGH, GETTING ANGRY OVER MEANINGLESS THINGS LIKE A WEENIE...
I bet that sounded special in the room.
The Fuzz Blasphemous Lady...😑
I am trying to by the Prismatic Wall since months. When is it be available again?
We've been making them regularly - trying to pick up the pace a little bit now that we are back from the holidays.
@@electronicaudioexperiments Great news. That is a really original pedal
👍👍
Nice to have a goo-less portal
Unless you have a Music Technology department at your music school, it won’t be covered.
The future holds very little for foot pedals and boards 😢
