- Could Kentucky basketball already have another Reed Sheppard-type player on their roster in Travis Perry?

I so wanted to see Perry and Shepherd play together…. I know it was a long shot but that would have been Dynamic and one Awesome backcourt
I watched Trent Noah and Travis Perry play in the sweet 16. I think everyone is sleeping on Noah. He's Big smooth stroke. He looked like Luka doncich out there
I agree. Noah is also big for a freshman. With his size and skill, he may be a contributor early. The question for him and Perry is can they gaurd their position?

Lance, I’m totally fine with a 15th ranking. Way better than years past where UK was top 5 and just dropped as the season played out.
Just be ready to love TP11 he’s not only a great shooter he can pass & handle the ball without turning it over. The iq is off the charts as well! He will impress & I do believe Pope will be running a “platoon” style system. Everyone will play! 🤞

Cal made promises to the highest ranked recruits. “Come to Kentucky and you’ll start every game,” etc. How else do you think he gets all these crazy recruiting classes
Shooting wise, Travis is probably better. Athletic wise, Reed is way better. No comparison. I hope Travis can become a National Champion.
No one needs to put that pressure on Perry. He’s a different player. Shepherd has different skill sets!!
I believe T. Perry is just putting in the work, everyone is on notice from the year before. T played against one another when T was a junior and R. Sheppard was a senior... now everyone has their eyes and minds wondering and watching. Though there's so much talent that it will definitely overshadow T's performance, such as during the 3rd game of Kentucky's season and when we have to face the Zags as well. Though I hope that he stays under the radar and then the following season ends of breaking out as the dominant player along with Noah and a few others bringing Kentucky's stature near the forefront where it belongs.
Definitely think Perry can be a top contributor just not in his Freshman season. His Sophmore season he'll be a solid role player and by Junior and Senior season he'll be a all around college player
Arkansas doesn’t have that many shooters and I think it will really hurt them but Boogie Johnell and Karter can all shoot the 3 pretty well to very well also I think Adou is going to take a step and can possibly be all SEC same with DJ and Cal has been known to get guys to play defense very well and I think he got the guys to do it, that being said he’s not good at scheming a game plan or in game adjustments I think Arkansas will be what we all think very talented win some big games but lose some games they shouldn’t
We should expect to beat Ohio state and Clemson Duke will be a tough close game they have way more talent but our team is more balanced with experience and it’s an early game Gonzaga could go either way I do like there backcourt

I say perry going be very good ! Maybe same as reed but i think perry be staying about 2years then go to the NBA 🙏🏻🤞🏻 ..i wish reed stay so they can play together ! But reed killing it in the NBA. 😊. Go cats cant wait see perry light them 3s up 😊😊. BBN
Ummmm....I don't think so. Perry is going to be outstanding because he can shoot. He's pretty crafty too. But athletically Sheppard is on a different level. When I saw him in HS and the elevation he got on his shot and the fact he could get his elbow near the rim told me that all that kid needed was a little more time and maturity. Perry is not the same athlete but he's going to be really good for UK, just not Reed Sheppard good his freshmen year.
I want the first Travis Perry. Who's this Reed guy you're talking about?
Stop comparing the 2 sons people seen the skill of Reed not the ESPN ranking I new Reed was going to play more than most I didn’t know how good he was going to be though, and Travis isn’t that he’s smaller less athletic and the IQ isn’t there yes I think Travis is very good and can be a top 5 PG in the country just not until his junior or senior year he can shoot as good as Reed with a quicker release but that’s about it

Im fuckin over kentucky basketball. Cal ruined it, and pope will finish it. I have no hope it him. Pnce he leaves byu they start getting their best player's ever. But pope uses the excuse of they had certain restrictions well how is this other guy doing it?

Pope will be gone after next year. Not even gonna be able to keep jasper or Moreno here. No other good recruits are wanting to be here. And no I don't think you got to have 5 stars galore. But need 1 or 2 spotted through the roster for athleticism and talent. He can't get it done I wanted Chris beard or tj otzelberger. Pope is not the guy, glad cal is gone but mitch is a dumb ass for jumping on Pope to fast. Plus what happened to the ACE staff in Alvin Brooks, Jason hart and Cody fuger. Don't look like none of them can do much to me
