That’s some dedication right there.......for something so pointless and something that people have already gotten over years ago. I get that it’s coronavirus quarantine but don’t you think that time would’ve been better off......binging all the old Top Gear episodes and The Grand Tour if you’re willing to relive the Clarkson days?
I’ve done so and it’s genuinely fun, you should try it sometime. Certainly more fun than repeatedly going on a comment spree. Then again, 23 year old me certainly thought different than 12-year old me who thought that sort of thing was fun, so what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@jon doe Fair enough. Still don't see how that makes him overrated. The guy can drive the wheels off a GT3 car and describe it in a way that even my girlfriend finds interesting. He's a very good driver and a decent presenter. I enjoy his stuff, as a petrol head I don't know what's to dislike tbh.

I feel the same way about the 720s. 42 year old who has been kind of a car geek since I was a kid, and nothing has gotten me this excited since the F40 was introduced. I also love the 720s in that blue that reminds me of Laguna Seca blue from BMW. The 720s is history in the making, I love it.
For everyone saying "No F1?", the chances you find someone willing to let you drive their extremely rare and expensive car, let alone let a Journalist tear it around a track (albeit Chris Harris) is VERY unlikely.
And there's also 675LT which is missing here. F1 and 675LT legitimately best McLaren's ever.

@@LDBCFC I like P1 too, but P1 is more of a status symbol, made to show what McLaren can do in terms of technology, as a driving machine 675LT is better, I base those words from what I've heard or read from journalists and racing drivers. 675LT is the best car McLaren made since F1. Therefore best you could do is get P1 and 675LT 😄
Mclaren has their own F1 for that I think. Evo did a video with it.
Autosport also did a video recently with it

This man’s words are automotive poetry. He is one of a few greats with an innate ability to describe cars and translate that feeling to other people. Bravo 👏🏻
Watching 30 minutes of Chris Harris felt like 3 minutes. I struggle to sit still for a movie but this I could do all day. I love how frank but informative you are, couldn't ask for better content, thank you!

Chris Harris is really one of very few people who makes videos about cars and can properly explain behaviour of the car his feeling and connection with the car! I will never forget when he was writing small columns for Autocar magazine nearly 20 years ago. When I bought the magazine I just went straight to his small column and those few words and sentences could get under my skin and bring me the feeling of driving the car. Masterpiece Chris masterpiece!

Yes, yes, the cars are absolutely lovely. McLaren is one of the best manufacturers out there...but can we just take a moment to acknowledge that that track is absolutely gorgeous!
Proper, oldschool, Chris Harris Videos. Fast laps with no commentary and no stupidly loud music to spoil the sound of the engine and the car. Thank goodness for stuff like this.

It's nice to hear a genuine and honest opinion rather than some reviewers that suck up to the car brands to keep getting access to the cars. Chris has proven more than once that he will sacrifice access to a brand's cars but not sacrifice integrity of his feedback. This is why many people will listen to him over many others

I’ve seen experienced drivers in Radicals & GT3 RS’s with full slicks who couldn’t get below 2:15
Oliver Craner It’s even crazier how fast a F1 car is compared to the gt3. Doing it in 1:30 is mind boggling.

The fact that the Senna, a road legal supercar on stock tires, is ‘only’ 7 seconds slower around a long circuit like Silverstone than a GT3 professional racing car on slick tires - dunno about you but - it’s mind blowing to me!

@@nemanjap8768 Well, I watch it when it's available on my 4K screen. 4K monitors and TVs are ubiquitous these days. Many channels have switched to it and it's very welcome.

I was introduced to a fellow named Tim Schrick (dmax) before @chrisharrison. Tim taught me 2 things 1. German, 2. How to relate to a car. I’ll explain why the word relate in a second. Chris is the only other motoring journalist who would speak about a cars merits, how to drive it and how it made one feel while doing it. Chris, everyone moves on and grows but please don’t loose the essence of what made you and Tim great, the relationship to the motor car. P.S that means carry on doing inserts such as healing and toeing, skidding on skinny tires to demonstrate balance. Teach us what the car is, what it can do and how to do it. Just like the good old days.
