Good question! As per the Boulder WaterKeeper site: "The Boulder Creek watershed drains 448 square miles and is 31.4 miles long stretching from continental divide in the Indian Peaks wilderness area to the confluence of the St. Vrain Creek east of Longmont."
@@boulderwalking7486 So that means I'm even more confused now😉!...so, I guess that the river that flows through Lyons under a different name, turns into Boulder Creek...but the actual origins are unknown - are the Indian Peaks in Estes Park? -, and where it ends is anybody's guess...(I figured it would become the river that goes under Golden, or just runoff in Denver. FYI, all I know of your beautiful area is what I get from stills and videos, so I'm just doing a lot of guesstimating here). Anyway, thank you for taking time to respond!😀 If I ever get out to the Boulder area, I will definitely make a point of not including Boulder WaterKeeper on any go-to sites to have handy😁. (Only joking!)
What a beautiful walk! 💐
