It was a rainy day in the spring of '92, the first time I heard Pearl Jam's album "Ten"; I was crammed in the back seat of my cousins old, blue and white Ford flatbed truck, he looked back and asked me if I liked Pearl Jam as he popped the cassette into the tape deck; there was silence for the first few seconds in which he turned the volume up...
    And then BOOM!!
I was 11 years old on that day in April when I became a Pearl Jam fan and I have been a fan ever since.

If I could go back in time to go to a concert I’d go to one from that tour. A young and up and coming Chilli peppers group followed by prime Pearl Jam and Nirvana. You can’t get much closer to a perfect concert than that.

It’s not very often that you have songs that are anthem-quality all throughout an album. Even Flow, Alive, Black, Jeremy, Garden are all career-making songs

Eddie is the voice of late 90’s rock. Still under-rated in spite of the success they had! Him, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, and Chester Bennington. Luckily, Eddie is still with us!
Sadly to me, this was the last wave of music I can relate to! Everything after the 2000’s has just been shit to me!

0:01-0:20 Eddie is clearly all excited about the album. Then when it became a big seller he acted like he was above it, that it was too commercial etc. I liked PJ’s 90’s albums but Eddie always came off as calculating and phony.
