    Most of these issues come down to the same thing, not having enough time. How would people be able to sleep when they are stressed out and over worked. This obsession with 'hard work' is killing us, we as humans aren't meant to work mindlessly in the name of productivity. Businesses make all the money, you get live month to month with a paycheck and lifestyle diseases. People need to say no this mindless grind, I understand it's not as simple in the real world but every action starts with a thought

    I love the book Why We Sleep I got from Audible. Ironically, the narator's voice sounds incredibly sleepy 😂 Now I know what Prof. Walker sound like, I wish he's also the voice of his own book.

    A very important thing that he forgot to mention is that the time needed to rest varies from one person to another. Many popular geniouses such as Tesla and Leonardo da Vinci used to sleep for very short periods of time. So sleeping more doesn't necessarily mean performing better or being more brilliant.

    If only the government would help us limit dense low frequency noise which penetrates earplugs. We used to sleep 7+ hours. Now we are lucky to get 4. Government public health has to play role here. Dampen plane noise. Stop putting clusters of cell towers and nodes everywhere. Stop letting industry buy noise variances for multiple weeks in a row.

      True, and traffic right outside my window, tons of pollution, no structure in society so they make prescription drugs the only way to get sleep or others just smoke weed and spend all their money on it and get skint.
