10 years later we finally saw both Ikora and Zavala using Darkness. Or at least they're figuring out how to use it. Ikora is figuring out how to use Strand while Zavala is figuring out how to use Stasis. Honest cute of them.

And it hits much harder to me because I just lost my 10 year old cat, the very same cat in my profile picture - with the Guardian begging for a miracle towards The Traveler to bring Ghost back hits very close to home.
I do wonder if that War Hound was one of Josef's? He did get a couple of them from Lord Saladin. If not, it's owner is likely the Cabal you see chatting with some people at 5:25.
One part I'm glad I finally saw was that small detail of Human and Eliksni children playing alongside eachover, ever since the season of the splicer I wanted to see that. The Cabal warbeast was a nice addition too.

What I love is the background music the ending celebration has remixes of the very first music we heard in destiny 1 and the popular song from taken king which I can’t remember the name of. Point is, it was that mystical music that Original destiny players from year 1 would remember and it’s fitting for the ending

I share a similar sentiment. I have always been “interested” in Destiny even before 2 came out, but I never really got into all of the armor crafting and campaign stuff until Lightfall came out. Even then, I fucking balled my eyes out at this Ending. They could not have done a better job, like at all, this was perfect.

You heard how he was talking to ikora? He was essentially ripped out of eternal peace leaving his partner in crime. Cayde wanted to rest in peace, so his sacrafice made it even more poetic imo

Ten years of my life was this game. I don't regret anything. I don't regret the best of highs or the worst of lows. I'm glad to be there with my fellow 10 year veterans and my new lights out there. I'm grateful and thankful to spend my teenage life here
I think it was mostly because they new people would complain about how they brought back a character they laid to rest a while ago and just have him back. At leat with this we still get the emotional conclusion and closure for cayde without too many people complaining. A satisfying end to a character but truly sad to see him go one last time.
It pains me because Nathan Fillion is one of my favorite actors, but they did it the right way. It would have cheapened his death if he were to be brought back now and Cayde resurrecting his ghost was the perfect end to his story arc. This time he went out on his terms and sacrificed himself for his to save his favorite person's ghost. Legitimately beautiful storytelling and their finest work since Halo 3.

You should be able to. You can replay the mission again. Right above the start mission button you can change the difficulty to narrative mode which will play the cutscenes again.

Glad I was there to finish this game finally, this ending was so awesome. Finally defeating a long time war and the way everyone unite to fight against the witness, is something we will never forget. I mean we finish the witness but the darkness is always there to fight it and its true that some of the witness main followers flew away trying to hold up and rebuild somewhere else. For a minute I thought that our ghost was killed but in the end cade use all his light to save our ghost. Also this soundtrack is also so peacefull that makes me want to cry, because is the ending and everything we being doing since 2017, was worth it. ( For the ones we still playing the game ). Know for the future, who knows if there is gona be a third game, they where rumors for the beginning about a third game, but like I said who knows what new enemy will bring this time. Once you complete the main campaign and wildcard exotic quest you'll have access to an new post campaign quest next to the raid on the map. Completing the mission will give the cutscenes. Don't know why the video says raid cutscene tho. The mission does take place after the events of the raid tho.

spoilers we use ghost to channel as much light as possible from him to kill the witness, he was already damaged by the witness in the campaign so this was kinda the straw that broke the camels back, and he died

Saw this on my characters, and for some reason my helmet was showing instead of my face, was I supposed to have the setting to off in non combat?
Yes, it is something new they introduced in this update. Helmet needs to be turned off to have your face appear in cutscenes now.
