Ha! I forgot to post my comment...it was a masterful piece of literature! This was such a great treasure trove of information, especially the coach covers! I wonder just how many I've passed over, thinking they were simple round earrings...YIKES!!! The tip on Google Patent Search will help save so much time in locating makers! 5 STARS!!! Hi! Thank you for this information. I really liked this. I am starting an Ebay store soon. I bought a jewelry lot. It was full of goldtone jewelry. It is all in very good condition. I do not know how to price it. Do you have any thoughts? It looks to be about 1980/1990. Thank you!
Congratulations, Trina - that's an exciting journey to be on! Here are some thoughts: If pieces are signed, they will be easier for you to research. I would start by looking at each one, assessing condition (look for loose/missing stones, metal loss or verdigris, loose findings, etc) and signatures/maker's marks.
You can then search for like items to see what others are asking for them - I like to use gem.app which takes data from marketplaces like ebay/etsy/ruby lane and others places -you'll be able to quickly get a feel for what asking price/starting bids are.
There are also some really helpful vintage jewelry collector forums on facebook that may be helpful to you as well.

Great question! The radioactivity of uranium glass pieces is considered negligible & they are regarded as being safe to wear. 💚
