Love the way you make your daughter's food age appropriate without giving her a totally different dish. It's so wholesome to see the the huge husbento next to a smaller babybento!
I love that you kept the chaos of the American sausage batter in, it's so reassuring to see that everything doesn't always go perfectly, and this is why I love your cooking videos. What beautiful haircuts Mr Imamu did for Anna and Elsa! Those are some lucky dolls!
The funniest thing about Imanu’s food fails is the fact that she really doesn’t say much vocally. There’s something about her written commentary coupled with the complete silence that just makes everything so much funnier. The corn dog batter had me wheezing!! 😂
I thought about baby bento but I didn't want her daughter to feel like she's being called a baby by eating a baby bento as she is now going to school lol

Picking what to eat everyday is hard enough so I have so much respect for making unique food every morning and it also looking amazing every time. You're awesome!!!
husbento said thank you during the oyster dinner so genuinely I was thrown off for a bit, but I cant help but think how special it is to hear someone treat your food with such reverence!!!
I'm starting to have the biggest urge to start learning how to cook after watching your videos Mrs. Imamu! Thank you for posting your cooking videos. I can't believe your daughter is already old enough to start going to school! She's growing up too fast!
Imamu here is a tip on doing a good corndog batter: make the batter the consistency of slightly thicker pancake batter, pour into a cup or a tall cylindrical item, then it will be easy to dip the sausages. I have had good results doing it that way.
I believe she says she normally does that. But sometimes asian bakeries have her kind of "corn dog" too. where it's very bready and it's like the sausage is baked into the bun, that version is also valid and perfectly delicious.
I have been a subscriber for 3 years and I *still* cannot get enough of your daughters laughter and sense of humor! You make amazing meals but you are also most definitely an amazing mom as well!! Thanks for sharing your family life with us Imamu. 🙂 Love from Washington DC 💕🇺🇲

Imamu, when I open my TH-cam and see one of your videos, I know I have a happy quarter hour or so ahead of me. Watching you cook gives me the same comfort and happiness that watching my mother cook used to do. She was from South Dakota in the US, so obviously her style and recipes were completely different from yours, but the feeling of a person cooking with pleasure and anticipation and appreciation and love are all the same, even if the foods are a bit different. Thank you for giving me back that feeling from my mother's kitchen, where I used to watch her do everything from boil eggs to preserve cherries to bake cakes or fry chicken her own way. We lost her a few years ago, but your videos remind me of what she was like and I am grateful for that whenever I see them. I know she would have loved to watch you over and over, even if she was completely unfamiliar with many of the flavors you use and never ate an oyster in her life. BTW, I will be trying your oyster recipes from this week - they look wonderful.
im not very fond of kids but i adore your daughter very much! shes so cute and her personality is charming! her laughter is just so contagious! i wish her all the best in her school! 💕💕💕

Hi 😊. A tip for the American Corn Dogs: Try using a tall jar (like an olive or pasta cooking sauce jar) to pour the batter into the jar and leave in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. Then, dunk and twirl the skewered hotdog sausages and the batter should stick better. Sincerely, an American (^.^)
