Which net freamwork do you use when ever i open the exe it says "you need to download the net" i don't know what it mean by net but i think its net framework but it didn't says which one @@beyondthehype

Why my anviltoolkit won't launch
I have a problem we have anvil tool kit when I try to open it say windows stopped me but I run anyway but then it tells me to install NET I am not very good with computers 1:43 around there is when I got confused because it does not show the same thing as you

You don't need to do a backup as Anviltool already does one, it automatically create a backup file in the same place the .Exe of your game is.

I go to click on the .exe and it gives me an error says I need to download .NET. and then asks me if I want to download it and when I hit yes nothing happens what do I do?
For me it took me to a website to download the file

when i click on repack, the console says successfully written forge file, but then when i go to unpack the file again, it says “skipping unpacking, found unpacked folder ”, even though i repacked it

mod doesn't appear ingame but the modding process went through just fine, no error. Am i doing anything wrong?
The vid was understandable but when I load into my game I don’t get my modded outfits and I checked all the shops to see if I can buy it. But there’s nothing
then something must have gone wrong at 1 of the steps.. you should probably retrace your steps and try to fix it..

So i accidentally unpacked a forge file for unity twice before it finished the first time, ( double clicked on accident) and now all the. .data files after number 60 (10k total files) are listed as "Cell000...". I tried to repack and unpack but now anvil thinks its "already unpacked the forge file" and "skips" unpacking. How in the world do I get this tool to properly unpack the forge file. I have reinstalled the game fresh, and deleted it from anvil. When I brought it back after reinstalling the game it was still skipping the unpack and giving me "cell000" .data files. Pleaseeeee help!!!

Bro thanks to u i already happen to run some mods now, but my question is after extracting a forged file and repacking it do we have to unpack it again incase we want to add other mods inside it or can we jst paste the new mods on the already ectracted files?

I tried using the Storm Fortress mod for AC Rogue, i drag and drop the datapc.forge and the datapc_extra_chr.forge into the directory folder which is supposed to change the morrigan's appearance into the storm fortress.....but nothing happens. it is the only mod i am using

i made a modded skin in blender but it comes out in .fbx format, do I manually just rename that file from the file explorer to the skin i want to replace through anvil tool kit or is it done some other way?
I need help, I wanna downloadl Flat Cap Mod in AC Syndicate. In the mod description it says unpack DataPC_14_dlc.forge but I cant find it in the Anvil Game Explorer. Am I missing a something?

Well it is simple as spreading butter ,
When they tell you that specific folder isn't selected just look at the top right there will be an editing symbol( pencil thingy) click on that and select your game from where you run it ,
If you can't find it just right click the application on your home screen and click on "open file location" from there you'll know the exact location where to go after that just select the "game" ans you're all set

U said you were going to show us how to replace forge files . But you just showed us some graphic you made that didnt do that at all. Good video up until that point though.
I wanna have 2 mods, but one mod (A)requires is a whole “DataPC” forge file, while the other mod (B) has 2 folders full of data files for 2 forge files, “DataPC” being one of them.
Say mod (A) replaces the original DataPC forge file, would it still work if I put mod (B)‘s data files inside mod (A)’s DataPC forge file?

It's for windows, you should have it by default. Otherwise just install it. It makes things work on Widows.

anytime i move a mod into the forge file and repack it the game just doesn't launch

what do you do when you dont have THE forgefile
Check the game for integrity. Some forge files are in folders "dlc_11" (for example), If you mean in general you do not have it, read what modder says.
I'm trying to mod the ghost recon ground branch, but I can't find where to get Uplay from. All that pops up is Ubisoft Connect, and it's not the same as Uplay. I downloaded the game through Steam, so what do I link the start-up to. I can't find the .exe for the game. I see GRB and GRB_vulkan above the Ubisoft Connect installer. I don't know if that is the .exe or not.
Connect replaced UPlay a few years ago. i.e. Ubisoft made that name change for its service.
I assume you mean "Breakpoint", not "Ground Branch", as Ubisoft has nothing to do with the latter.
Does it work for _plus versions of games because some mods that I’ve tried doesn’t work with that version

anvil tool kit works without problems.
problem with "No Cape Covering" mod for AC2 - my original DataPC.forge file of 82,6 mb does NOT increase in size after I click Repack (I downloaded the .data file, but if I download the ready version of DataPC.forge from the author of the mod - the game starts and instantly freezes to death)

right click on your game in steam and go to manage, then browse files. the window should pop up and you will see where your game is.
