KRABI, THAILAND: MORE Than JUST Beaches! (Krabi Things To Do)

- Guys, when I tell you Krabi's WAY more than just beaches, I am not kidding. Don't get me wrong, the beaches are fantastic (as you will see in this video). But in today's exploring video, we show you why Krabi's famous Railay Beach & Ao Nang Beach aren't the only things you should visit when you're looking for things to do in Krabi. Let's go!!
We kicked things off in Ao Nang by grabbing a great cup of coffee at Cafe 8.98. We always start our exploring/best things to do videos with a cup of coffee, but this one was SO special. We then headed to three GORGEOUS beaches. Arguably the most popular beaches in Krabi are Ao Nang, Tonsai, & Railay. It was only fitting that we kicked things off there first!! We enjoyed the views, got some sun, & avoided a monkey attack (which felt like a HUGE win for us LOL).
From there, we headed into Krabi Town. Now guys, I kid you not when I say we had the most fun here. Even more fun than the beaches. Krabi Town's got so much charm & so many incredible things to do. We hired a boat driver who took us to Khao Khanab Nam, where I had a great trick up my sleeve for Hannah. From there, we got to know the area more by riding through the floating villages as well as the mangrove forest. It's truly a sight to behold.
After that, we made our way back into Krabi Town to grab some street food at the Krabi Town Night Market. The food was fantastic, the entertainment was excellent, & before we knew it it was nightfall. We headed back into Ao Nang to wrap up our video with a good IPA.
Krabi is seriously one of the most beautiful places we've ever been, & BOY did it surprise us. Hi! The monkey trail goes between Ao Nang beach and Pai plong beach. Tonsai beach are locaited between Pai plong and Railay beach.
I have visited Krabi twice staying in Ao Nang on both occasions back in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020, and absolutely loved it much more than Phuket. I did do that Mangrove Forest, Monkey Trail, and Krabi Town as well as doing all the beaches like Railey, 4-Islands, Hong Islands, Phi Phi Islands and Klong Muang beach too. But also climbed up to Tiger Cave Temple, did the Emerald Pool and the Hot Springs as well.
WOW you did a ton!! We talked about doing the Tiger Cave Temple, but the heights were pretty much a no-go😅 Krabi's incredible though. The beaches are some of the best we've ever seen anywhere. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!
We recommend another place: Wat Bang Riang, Thap Put District, Phang Nga Province and Tham Phi Hua To, Ao Luek District, which has prehistoric paintings.

Great video guys! Bummer they closed off the walk between Railay and Tonsai - we must have just scraped through being able to do it (back in Feb) , your drone footage is INCREDIBLE 🙌🏼
We remembered that you guys got there by hiking but we had such a hard time finding the entrance! Maybe we were in the wrong spot 😅 but everyone we asked said they didn't think there was a path. Hope we get to see y'all again soon!

I think you'll find y'all mixed your beaches up. The first beach after the monkey trail walk with Centara Grand is Pai Plong Beach. Tonsai is only accessible by longtail and you definitely can walk from Tonsai to Railay, either via the beach at low tide or via the jungle for little tougher walk. 😊😊 Ao Nang Beach > Pai Plong Beach > Tonsai Beach > Railay West.
You’re absolutely right about this!! You can see just how confused I was at parts during this video🤣 we’d over-relied too much in a TH-cam video we’d seen prior so i think that’s what doomed us LOL! Apologies for any confusion & thank you so much for watching!!!😊

Hi! Honestly just go to the waterfront in Krabi Town and you’ll see a ton of boats offering the service. I don’t think there’s a specific dock listed!
