Part 3 of how to keep quails. I thought it was time to introduce the new quails to Snow. This is also a good moment to show you how I introduce new quails to the flock. I just follow some simple to make sure I don't transfer new diseases to snow and that the quails like each other. Hope you enjoy.

What is the name of that mite spray? There are so much of them, but some doesn't work at all, so it would be nice to know which brand it is that you are using?

404 spray for the environment and birds as prevention, and for the birds I use parasita from Beaphar if there is a real outbreak

Can I keep 3 button quails in a 10 gallon tank?

ADAM'S TV, the minimum you need is 1,5 x 0,5 for 2 and I only use that during the winter. I lost some quails due to small housing, dont make the same mistake.

Mr. Aviary ok. Can I house them in a small aviary? Even in the winter? I would put a small dog house/ shelter for them to keep warm and some plastic on the outside will that work?

ADAM'S TV, depends on where you live. Out of the wind they can bare temperatures of 0 degrees celcius.
