I just ordered the Oculus go. Is there any apps for people that don't play games, i need advise for apps like bicycle rides, slow rides. relaxing apps. movies... do you have any recomendations>
movies get big screen if your into watching with others socially, Good time in there. Skybox to watch your own movies on your device. Boat Trip if you want a relax time on a boat in the ocean
tried bigscreen and remote destop but it lags and does not work well at all. maybe cause i am on wifi and should try to use a cable but so far not a good app for me. any suggestions?
None of these apps come even close to using a real headset and controllers, BigScreen is a fantastic app but SEVERELY limited on GearVR and Oculus Go. You can NOT stream your desktop in BigScreen with the Oculus go. The remote desktop is garbage if you want to play games as well. Like I said, BigScreen is SEVERELY limited with an Oculus Go or GearVR. It's not a software limitation, the hardware is far to weak to run BigScreen as intended.
Yes but you get severe lag in the desktop that way. Plus a shared/remote desktop is not a natively running desktop like you get when you use a real VR headset with bigscreen which means apps and games running in s shared/remote desktop setup like you posted are laggy or may not even work.
@@EvoPortal yeah but this is great for on the go content how many times a week do you have to setup your headset? A fucking lot dude I hate fixing up my psvr for tracking just to game but the go have it's uses

Does it really look this good? The videos I've seen recorded on the Oculus Go it was a little choppy.

Wankerz I would say to save and find a quest if you want to play games. If all you want is Media apps then this is still not bad

You can actually use the desktop version of BigScreen with ALVR and share your desktop, you will only miss 6DoF
