  • These are the first set of modifications I did to make my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 more adventure friendly. What do you guys think? Here is the description of the changes:
    ยาง / tires : Mitas E07+ 120/80-18 - 150/70-17
    ท่อสั้น / short exhaust
    ยางหุ้มโช๊คหน้าของศูนย์ / front shocks rubber
    การ์ดออย / radiator guard
    กันล้มสีดำ / crash bars
    กันแคร้งล่างยาว / long skid plate
    ตุ๊กตาแฮนด์ / bar risers
    แฮนด์ทรงสูง / handlebar
    แร็คหลัง / back rack
    บังโคลน / higher fender
And thank you to fellow vlogger Fred who spotted my tires issue. You see his channel:

Hi Mick, I am also owning Interceptor 650 Chrome edition and done some mod in Apollo garage, Bickpun is a good friend of mine. I think I have seen your bike in Apollo 😜. We have a very active international biker group in Bangkok called “Thailand International Bikers”. Happy to have you in the group. Great VLOG by the way 🙌🏼.

Wish if you could advise where to get the 17 inch spokes. I'm really struggling to assemble 17 inch rim which I order for my interceptor

Having a back tire on the front is no big deal, I’ll just give you a heavier feel and take a little more effort to turn. You’ll get used to it to it fast. I use those tires on my BMW 1200GS and Husqvarna 701. I just got a RE 650 that I’m turning into a scrambler. I’m going with a 19” front wheel.

Yeah I didn't keep that rear tire in the front for a while. These days I got two Pirelli Scorpion STR

Hi brother, you got yourself a new subscriber here. I own a Baker express and you gave me some ideas. Do you mind sharing the link or brand of the handlebars? I want to see the specs. Also, what are the specs of the wheels, and the name of the exhaust? Thank you a lot

    Hi
i really like your Interceptor's modifications, and really like the Exhaust as its short and gives a clean look, compared to the old rocket like ones 😂. Please tell us which exhaust have you got on your bike and its awesome and i would love to get one too.

Should keep the 18 in the rear and put 19 on front.
Small rims=less clearance and feeling the bumps more.
Small rims are good on road but not good for scrambler

You might want to upgrade the front forks to YSS if you're riding rough, much better ride on rough roads. Also better on your average Thai paved road. Originals lack hard damping and bottom out in deeper potholes.

    • @ThisisMick
      @ThisisMick  3 ปีที่แล้ว

definitely, I did a 3000km trip since this video and I can only agree about upgrading the front forks now.
