This could work better if the phone and the bulb were enclosed in a black box(like other DIY projectors out there.), so the light from the screen goes directly to the bulb, thus having more clarity and maybe better quality. I think I'm going to try this.
Aanndd it would work even better if you had the light from the phone hit a mirror at 45 degrees and then go to the bulb/lens at 90 degrees from the original path, resulting in a correct (unflipped) image horizontally.
@@d0nj03 that's unnecessary and makes creating this diy projector way more difficult than it needs to be. Wgaf if the image on the phone is upside-down. What Sergio suggested would make this way more functional and practical.
@@codyramos3200 It's never upside down, but it's flipped left-to-right and you won't be able to read any text (sometimes scenes have text in them even if not subtitled).
Anyway, after experimenting with this stuff for a bit I've completely lost interest: phones just don't put out enough light for such a projection to be useful. It's only watchable if I put everything so close to the wall that there's just no point in projecting anymore, I could just watch the phone itself.
Best-case one of those fresnel lens based phone magnifiers that give you like a 1.5x - 2x larger image could be useful if there's a design that doesn't distort the image too badly, otherwise you just need a 'real' projector.

This is just for fun like what did you expect a crazy 4K projector that has extreme light? Your smartphone screen cannot provide that

Its a mini idea about how projector is working.. i think it might be very helpful for the the one who are participating in exhibitions & all.. well done bro!!
You can solve most of the blur by making a box so only half the light bulb shows and that's the only exit for the light from the phone (but you would need a remote, voice commands or open the box to control)
After all u can use a wireless controller to command the phone👍

I've subscribed you.... for your notable video.
Some people lost everything and is having to relocate to different states because of the hurricanes. It's quite depressing starting over from scratch especially when you have kids depending on you..their needs come first...and it was an uncontrollable unforseen circumstance that got us here "WITH NO FLAT SCREEN TO CAST" I love the idea.. it helps pass time even creating the boxes with your little ones. Maybe one day we can work on tvs but you have to work on keeping food in your mouth first.
You can also glue your phone to the end of your nose. It's just like being at the front row of the cinema.
