If anything, the series aesthetically fits like a glove since the beginning up to 6. You people throw that word around with no meaning whatsoever.
@nyx9379 it isn't as simple as "x character is in, thus it's woke". It's the fact that characters are specifically added to meet a quota, or not added for artistic vision and instead added to meet current trends. Notice how the people you're talking about have no problem with female characters like Ripley, Galadriel, Sarah Connor, but do have a problem with female characters like Galadriel in Rings of Power being a Mary Sue, or adding Ukraine flags purely out of ideological adherence. It isn't that minorities or women are added, it's the tokenisation of them that's plainly obvious in most modern games after around half way through the 2010s. The people you're complaining about just don't want to be pandered to, it's that simple. There are the odd few idiots that complain about every single character added, but most people just don't want to consume media that's designed with the sole purpose of satisfying quotas and increasing their ESG score. Create art for the sake of art, not for the sake of satisfying your current progressive masters.

@Lightmetal. Game devs: "Hey let's make a character that X group of players can relate to since they don't get a lot of representation in media"
Weirdos like you: "Grrrr STOP PUSHING POLITICS IN NY GAME I DONT WANNA HEAR THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD BECAUSE IN MY HEAD THEY DONT EXIST"
Politics according to gamers: every group of persons I don't like
@LauraMatsuda2020This has got to be the most idiotic take ever. Just because there’s rap, graffiti art and black characters in street fighter doesn’t make it “woke”.
I find this character disturbing and even filthy, hopefully a player we can beat up in practice matches
I really like him, he gives the world more flavour, and if you actually have a problem with him it's because you find him hot and is in denial 😊
I just don't like him because he acts weird and looks weird
@@WhatsIQ bs, 90% of the roster looks and acts weird
@@WhatsIQlike every character in the franchise
If I'm to be honest, I haven't seen a single person complaining about this guy.
I honestly think he is pretty cool exactly for reminding me of the flamboyant Ruby. He was such an interesting character
What I find weird is how anyone can stress about this character in Street Fighter of all things - the game has always relied on big over the top characters. This character is totally on brand.
Blue hair? Woke!
Black? Woke!
Flamboyant? Woke!
Speaks? Woke!
Videogame? Woke!
Street? Woke!
Fighter? Woke!
Blinking? Woke!
Existing? Woke!
Maybe that’s the insidious goal, once everything is woke, then nothing will be🫠
Logical fallacy?! Always!
Imagine Akuma was the one doing the intro? 😂
Honestly I enjoyed that character. Bro seems chill to hang out with irl
I'm in love
he looks amazing
and he looks like an enemy stand user
and I am here for itttt 😍
I want Eternity playable. As a Jojo fans, he's just like a stand user.
my only complaint about Eternity is, why are they not playable :(
Nah bro is definitely a Jojo reference
Bro has josuke vibes
That’s basically Chris Tucker’s character from The Fifth Element.
Capcom did a great job of portraying an average American citizen.
My biggest question is why do they use Juri's fighting style? Is it just to make a fun fight or is there more to it?
As soon as i started the gsme i fell in love with Eternity
I think I felt a tear drop roll down my thigh.
the people who are mad have obviously never seen the greatest sci fi movie ever made, The Fifth Element.
He do be looking pretty good. ngl.
and besides, i think capcom did a pretty good job giving everyone proper fanservice in sf6.
He could also be seen as a capcom pot shot at SNK'S Clemence Bellamy the news anchor men and game announcer for both kof xiv & kof XV.
It's disgusting whatever it is. This is the kind of thing that happens when you demonize the shaming of weird sexual kinks.
Ngl, I'd play the character if they made the roster. Not over Thrasher Damnd though. Put him on a SF roster for once. Homie's an OG with potential!
We stand Eternity around here 🔫
Lowkey can we get eternity as a fighter?
No I don't want to get embarrassed by a character who acts like that 💀
@@WhatsIQ any character can embarrass you if the other player beats you hard enough
I really don’t care if they flamboyant or not, doesn’t ruin the game for me except for how small the roster is that we got 😭 like wth
Fuck, he's cute! 💙
I wouldn’t say that he is woke, because he wasn’t created to push a political message. He was created to make you laugh.
>Flamboyant character exists
"IS THIS THE WOKE AGENDER??????"
I really don't get why people throw such a hissy fit over stuff like this. Like you barely see them for more than 4 minutes (probably not even that). Its not like they're a part of the roster of fighters.
Japanese have long held a fascination for the weird flamboyant types.
It’s transgender Chris tucker
So Ruby Rodd then.
If you describe "woke" as "being more inclusive" then you've already drank the kool-aid.
Better to see blue haired clowns in games than real life
The issue is people accusing more inclusive games as “woke”
If you use Sigma unironically, you already drank the Incel-aid.
@@shizachan8421 this screen name is over a decade old. Back when Sigma was a greek letter and the sum of a sequence of numbers. Guess I'm just a head of the curve.
@@shodan2002 It's ok to be scared of the girls with blue hair.
This is a safe space. They can't hurt you here.
Eternity did not go to the local protest about something stupid nor did he complain about pronouns. Woke? No. Gay? More than likely.
We had Eternitys all over Filipino television
And then, 4 years from now, in the updated World Tour mode story, it's revealed that Eternity is M. Bison's new body and he's hosting the tournaments for, what else, finding the best fighters in the world.
We Americans are just snowflakes the lot of us
Liberals you mean
it's hilarious that if there's any character that isn't obviously straight, it's suddenly woke. As if anyone who's not straight shouldn't be allowed in video games
People tend to forget that Japan... Likes femboys
But this is nothing like femboys so whats your point?
@@Can_think_of_a_name they would never wake again…
I'm glad I'm not crazy for thinking he looked like the 5th element character
Considering Poison is a thing is this really a shock?
His character design is pretty bad.
I kinda like it
Character *exists*
Idiots: is this the whole agenda?!?!?!
Conservatives and right wing ppl complaining over shit that dosent matter or effect em while also not knowing wtf they're talking abt instead of just playing the game.....im so shocked
So you wouldn’t mind if Capcom put a Donald Trump like character in the next game?
@@davidburke7777😂they would have a heart attack and protest aka “riot” that no one will buy the game
@@davidburke7777
*compares a colorful character (btw theres multiple wacky AND effeminate male characters in the game) to a REAL LIFE political figure.*
Difference between this character and the "what if" you gave is this has no politics associated with the character. Its made to fit in with the rest of the stereotyped, oversaturated, characters in the universe.
Juri, Marisa and Manon have colored hair.
Vega is effeminate, poses such, is obsessed with his beauty, and has long hair.
Are these issues as well now? or are y'all gonna continue to pick and choose.
Who ever is arguing about this.. doesn't know about Chris tucker... they mad a character that is a parody of the 5th element character... and glad you said it.
Okay, for anyone who doesn't already know, TopHat only makes video on stuff that he gets commented on, so basically someone must have been like "Blue hair guy from sf6 WOKE!?" and now he's making the video because of it.
I don't remember what video he replied on that he confirmed this, but I find these videos to be 100% funnier when I know he's basically just doing it because some rando online commented an absurd sentence.
People on the Right will really see anyone with blue hair and run away in fear lol
Man I'm tired of 'woke' as a term for anything 😅
THE FACT THEY HAD TO MAKE HIM A BLK MAN IS OFFENSIVE.. TIRED OF THE BLK MANS IMAGE BEING DESTROYED
He’s a Ruby Rhod clone. We’ve had flamboyant characters forever. I’m all for it!
Bro got the early DanTDM cut
he look cursed af
