Merci beaucoup from Switzerland. Great lesson. I'm learning the first five études, and spending time to get them musical. And I'm transposing them into other keys. I was trying to think as if I was in a minor scale, but my teacher and my concert pianist friend both keep it in the relative Major scale. So now I'm changing. And I listened attentively to your recommendations. Did I say that this was a very informative video series? It's a master class.
It's been less than 24 hours since I saw this video, and I'm solving an incredible amount of problems thanks to this class, I'm really impressed. Contains useful techniques for any study. And all in 11 minutes. Thanks, I can't wait to see the other classes.
Love these instructional videos Robert. Thank you so much! Super duper informative. Even if it's something I'm already aware of, you make the best points when explaining things and it keeps me honest and self aware. Appreciate you!

Hi! I was wondering why you chose to change the fingering in bar 7 for the repeated notes. I play it just like you do, but it is not the suggested fingering in the original edition nor in the one I have. Is it better to follow the suggested fingering, above all considering the piece is a study, or to use whatever fingering feels comfortable under the hand (as long as we keep good dynamics and articulation)? Thank you for your videos and your effort!
