Man, Adam, not to get too overly sentimental here but some of my best memories of when I first started watching TH-cam regularly are of your game store tours that I would put on in the evenings to relax back in 2015/2016. Thanks so much for this, it makes me so happy to watch a new one. Have an awesome weekend, buddy
My own personal experience living in the UK it’s watching tubers from Americaland like yourself that has inspired me to start retro video game collecting. Your enthusiasm and knowledge is awesome 👏👏
There used to be a fair few video game stores back in the day in Cardiff (early 90’s). One of which imported loads of games from Japan and the US. Sadly most have disappeared.
I remember seeing the video from your first visit to Super Tomato all those years ago, so this is sort of a nice surprise. Nice to see, always enjoy seeing different little gaming stores, the layout, inventory, the differences between places and so on. I wanna get my hands on all of those Darkstalkers figures i saw in those glass display cases. Looking forward to that pick ups video!
Love seeing other Retro Stores! Makes me go out & head to the wild instead of all this buy off the internet that I've been doing lately. These videos make me want to venture out. My wife hates when i stop into a Retro Store & she goes what will i do when you go in there? I just turn to her & say, Figure it out! Ha-Ha!
I stumbled on you through your first tour. I'm up in North Wales so I've visited this shop myself in Cardiff a few times many years ago as well. So awesome to see you return dude!
I used to visit this store all the time when I was at Cardiff uni. They used to be called Otakuzoku but changed it up in my final year. I bought a Dreamcast there and it died the next week. 😢
Looks like a good store. Abit of a trek to get there but saw something that might be aorth the travel for. Nice video as always Adam. Hope you and Amy are good
Been watching your videos for years! Specially sega related content, the video game generations, never subscribed until today, keep up the great work amazing how long you have been producing quality content
Super Tomato (or Otakuzoku when I discovered them)! Not local to me, but an annual pilgrimage. Great store, knowledgeable friendly staff. Still waiting for my opportunity to buy a Super Nintendo from them - usually miss out by a day or two. Brought my N64 and Mega Drive II from them and always buy a few games.
Great video. I live in Bristol and have popped to super tomato a few times. Yes def more toys these days but still a great choice! Suggest checking out a retro game hq in Swindon !
Just listening to the video in the background whilst doing other stuff and the store owner (to my ears) sounds exactly like Christian Bale. Love these videos you shoot in the UK man, always weird seeing you here lol.
My heart went a flutter at the sight of the ZX Spectrums, Yeah I know but she was my first!!! And laughed at how Adam acknowledged the 8bit British micro pcs and games but….. doesn’t really care! lol anyway I hope it goes well in Wolverhampton.
@@AdamKoralik I like the uniformity! It is easy to organise A-Z and find the game you want. I grew up with the Pal PS2 and spent years collecting, so I'm also 100% biased.
@@AdamKoralik thats a few hours by train but you could hit up a few other stores up this way, we're at Doorway To Dorkness, 4a Sandford Road, Balby, Doncaster, its worth checking out Kenny's Buy, Sell & Trade as well the national video game museum in sheffield and the arcade club in leeds too.
I need that Mega Drive Arcade Power Stick II. I was in Cardiff loads last year as well. Never went hunting for any stores. I'll head down there at some point in the year. Curious to know how much he sells 32Xs for, as I want a 2nd one for Doom. Amigas and Spectrums as well. Gotta get down there. PS... I believe I have that Mega Drive Power Rangers poster. IIRC it was given away in Mean Machines Sega around the time that the game was reviewed.
What a cool store. Takes me back to my youth, anything pre-2000 is a joy. Btw what was the other British Exclusive Sytem 9:14, did you cough on purpose 😊
@@AdamKoralikdid you purchase it. Don’t you already have that console. I remember you talking about it, previously, unless I’m mistaken. The amstad gx wasn’t worth time and money on release and will definitely be a dust collector now 😊
I wish i had kept my N64 and the games such as Goldeneye , Zelda , Banjo Kazooie , Rogue Squadron etc it would be worth a fortune nowadays , sadly long gone same as my PS1 , Master System and Snes but to be fair at the time i got rid of them they were not worth much no one expected gaming to become collectors items
Aweosme stuff, I see some sega picos there. Iv been playing with them now to see what I can learn for my popup book game let me know if ur up in Scotland and we can hang out :) I know some good indian buffets :P If uv not been there yet Forgotten Worlds in Glasgow is pretty epic
@@AdamKoralik You visited on a previous trip and went to Retro World... They've now moved to a better store. If you have the chance, stop by and I'll take you to the birth place of Lara Croft, the old Core Design Studio's.
British viewer been watching for like 10 years. My dad first introduced me to your videos, a HUGE sega fan.
Honored.
Man, young adults already having dads who played Sega. Feel old.

Looking good Adam! Been awhile since I caught one of your videos not long after it’s been uploaded. Keep the videos coming man, much love.
Great video. Really enjoyed that store tour.
I’ve worked in Cardiff Bay for 15 years and know of this shop but never been there. Time to change that👍😀😀
Wow, that Beeshu Striker pad above the pico's brought some memories flooding back for me!
I miss super tomato, since leaving Cardiff I've not found a place like it that I enjoy as much.
I saw the pics you shared of the store but the video shows it even better (obviously). Love the play on the name for the store too.

wow what an epic store! looking forward to the pickups video, for sure. never heard of that orange band NEO*GEO, that's new to me!
Thank you Adam for the store tour.

HOLY MOLY A SUPER NINTENDO KIOSK. I have no idea of the value but I have a need. Looks like I'm going to call this store after the weekend and ask.

I wonder how many stores have both Neo Geo and Amstrad GX4000 games. (Not this one anymore, since somebody bought the GX4000 anymore)
