Love this for the spooky season. I just wish they added some flavor or theme to the director and music composer tiles. They are boring compared to the interesting options for creatures, cameos, locations, and props. You've got a slasher film with a zombie and a chainsaw that takes place on a space station?! That's fun stuff. But a 3 star director and 2 star composer?... 🥱 Couldn't they have done real people? Like John Carpenter, Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Craven, or Eli Roth? Would have been fun. Could have replaced composer with stars like Bruce Campbell , Jamie Lee Curtis, or Kevin Bacon. Some good opportunities there to reach out to genre fans. A supernatural film that takes place in a carnival, featuring a Kaiju, welding an axe, starting Tom Atkins and directed by Robert Rodriguez 🤯 Would have been cool to have gore that you could add as much of as you are able, but when you complete the movie you have to roll the MPAA die and if you have more than that number of gore tokens they slap an NC-17 rating on your movie and you actually lose rather than gain those points against the final score for the movie 😂
Loved my play of Dream Factory some time ago. Been wanting a version of this for some time. I don't have any qualms with the theme, but I know the wife would. Oh for there to be even a superhero one.
(Off-topic) As a fan of Haggis and Potato Man I hope you're aware of the crowdfunding projects for Bacon (lighter large team Haggis-like) and Tricky Time Crisis (must-not-follow with quirky drafting and david & goliath scoring).
Hey, Joel! I really want to like this game (I love the theme of making movies), but I'm just not into bidding games. I had some plays of Modern Art and Ra that I found more annoying than fun, for example.

A superhero themed movie making theme would work great.
Thanks Joel.

I was just looking at those actually. Looks pretty cool!

Ya. Bidding is a hit or miss mechanic with many.
