You using Shadow to parry Vergil's attacks is one of the coolest things I've seen from anyone playing the game so far.
I love the fight between V and Urizen in this.
They're literally two sides of the same coin, V is everything that Urizen believes is weak yet V still defeats him. TBH even is V were to lose after Urizen got out of his chair V still wins mentally, He a human was able to force The wannabe Demon king to fight seriously.

Alternate ending: After Dante defeats Urizen, V uses his powers to absorb Urizen into him. Now cured, V smiles because he feels whole again. V gives Nero the Yamato, and Nero gets his demon arm back. They turn around and head back. Nero uses Yamato to close the portal, and with V's help, the roots got sent to the underworld. Dante returns to his office, and V follows Nero to the van, and Nico drives home. By the time they get there, V meets Kyrie and begins helping Nero with his business/killing demons for money while living with him, Nico, and Kyrie. V now has everything he wanted. Power, friends, and family.

Hey just to let you know, these guys practice these fights a lot, and they do mess up often, you just won't see that because it's not content
This isn't skill. This is way beyond skill. I mean, you'd literally need to restart the ENTIRE BLOODY PALACE if you took even one hit - and yet you're still taunting and taking risky chances as if that isn't the case.

When you get Super V you can infinitly have Nightmare around and watch as enemies get mega pissed ,as long you don't ride him as you get attacked Nightmare is good when you bring a super costume to bloody palace.

So nobody is going to talk about what happened at 25:23? He avoided getting stab (without shadow's help) by vergil, proceeds to taunt vergil, and immediately after he (V) dodges an judgment cut using griffon.
That Malphas fight was hilarious, I love it.

Do you have a practice regimen? I've been playing dmc casually for years but 5 really has me into it. I've been going through SoS mode and still no deaths and consistent a to b ranks(except urizen when hes sitting in the chair)
What's a good practice to work on timing and just general better ways to combo? Anything specific to look for?

As someone who really really enjoys playing V, this shit is amazing. I'm curious though, i've never seen that taunt or move that charges V's cane like that, is that just a taunt i haven't seen or unlocked yet? Or am i just dumb unga bunga brain who hasn't figured it out yet?
You unlock it by completing the Bloody Palace as V. Dante and Nero both get one as well.
Technically speaking, V is more powerful than Vergil because his nightmare familiar, much like the original, is said to be capable of destroying the entire underworld single handedly.
The way Nightmare drops in reminds me of that one ICarly scene where Gibby drops onto the floor and fuckin dies

I wish we could fight every boss as V judo we could see a cool death animation. Goliath could have just fell down and got poked in the head, but Capcom wanted to be fancy and have him brawl with Nightmare for a few seconds

Kinda surprised enemy step wasn't used that much, aside from that one moment when you jumped of Vergil's doppleganger.
Crazy how V, Vergil's human side thats literally dying and has only a small amount of demon power with his book, is still canonically strong enough to defeat Goliath, Artemis, and Cavalier angelo. Gameplay is gimmicky but still fun imo
Haven’t played the palace as V yet but I imagine the most annoying part is constantly having to revive your familiars
