The fact that V has more provocations than abilities is crazy ,never seen anyone use his provocations
I think it's cuz since he is free to fight without having to move around, giving the folks more to look at made sense.
That and V's a new character! The other two has a library of moves that they built on top of, especially Dante's. V here is fresh, and thus if there was a hypothetical DMC6 or similar where V is playable, I'm sure he'd get new moves. There's also things to be said about keeping his movepool lightweight as to not confuse players too much to his unique platstyle.

Well, he's his human half and truly respects Nero and his brother to some extent so it'd probably work out fine. Also his familiars would still be alive, so that's a plus

What do you mean "if he did that canonically"? He already does absorb Urizen in order to recomplete himself canonically.

Man, V is such a cool and unique character… it’s a shame well probably never be able to play as him again, his moveset has so much potential for development
we'll probably be able to play as him in the same way that you vould play as Vergil in dmc4: story-wise, it doesn't make sense, but you'll still have the option

This is probably the last DMC game, so it’s fine. I just wish he got more polish so that he’s as enjoyable as the other characters in higher levels of play. Controlling him can be quite quirky.

1:05 Shadow's Guillotine - Diving Charge is the most fanservice move because that's what he does in every cutscene in DMC1 where he appears in the area, jumps in the air, morphs into a sawblade and dive charges while dodging his attack's along with the Psycho Siren music playing.
i played through dmc 1 for nostalgia then hopped straight into 5 and after seeing Shadow with V, i specifically looked for guillotine first. Its Shadows identity at this point

If there is a new DMC game, I really do hope we can play as V, as an unlockable character. Like Trish, Lady, and Vergil in DMC 4.

I just remembered that V , Urizen , and Nelo Angelo are different forms of vergil . Doesn't that mean vergil has all of their powers?

Maybe in dmc 6 we can see Vergil have new styles, one base on V & one base on the powers he used a Urizen or just new powers from the fruit cause there’s gotta be more that he can do besides it being just a power up and we saw him summon those roots as a chair so many he can get some attacks with those roots

I had no clue he had a boss fight with Vergil.
I really wish we could see more of V in future games, perhaps with the ability to transform bosses into new familiars to use in battle, like the weapons from the others. Unfortunately, I guess we will not be seeing him in the future
Shadow's Combo B I still have panic attacks about. Imagine getting ambushed by one of him with low health and no healing items and no green orbs.

Although he is considered the least fun character to play in 5, I would love to see him or at least a character with his powers revisited in dmc6. Giving him a couple more creatures with unique gimmicks in their movesets would make them as mechanically interesting as devil arms, and having more ability to switch between them and manage multiple on the fly really making you feel like you’re orchestrating an army. It would be cool to have overarching mechanics which affect all of them, such as the character having DT which buffs their ability to summon and switch demons, but also having an individual DT for each creature which buffs their moveset in a unique way.

Algo que me se hace curioso de V tiene de invocación a 2 de los jefes del primer juego, lo raro para mí es que no está Phantom siendo reemplazado por Shadow el cual era un enemigo común. No se si esto fue por tema de la historia o porque no les parecía tan cool

If V died after waking Dante up, Dante would have killed Vergil on his demon form so Dante and Nero are the only ones to kill Qliphot
And I’m pretty sure the devil may cry series will end if Vergil died, because what’s a dmc game without Vergil huh?

The idea of making a character ranking video does sound good. But for the moment, I think I'm sticking with making moveset video only.

I don't know why, but I get ss or s more easily on V, so maybe V is the most pc-friendly character? Actually, I would be very happy to know how I could play the other characters more easily on keyboard & mouse environment.

I do have plan for other games, haven't play any of the 2 games you mention but from my knowledge these 2 games are famous. Do they have camera option that let us adjust the field of view(camera distance) and camera angle?

Yeah, it reminds me of dmc 1, nelo angelo blistering sword. Something Vergil always find it practical.
The bayonet move is broken not in a good way dnt know if I need a new controller or what but I can't seem to make shadow do bayonet on command, he does it sometimes but rarely

Why is his teleport faster than Vergil's?
Because Vergil's has more I-frames and you can shoot Mirage Blades while he teleports?

He clearly was meant to be a novice delight char, it's so easy to get SS rank with him (because he plays very safe and doesn't get hit).
@@quint3ssent1a the thing i hate about v is shadow not responding to the inputs but instead walking around the enemy breaking even the camera
@@jak9313 ehh, I just hate his DT, nightmare. If you use mods that make him stay longer, he's okay, but as-is he's so unbelievably slow that if you don't summon him right on top of the enemy, his timer runs out before he can reach the enemy, and many enemies have various teleport abilities to run away from him. As a DT it's really a disappointment.
