Thanks for putting this video together, it was helpful in getting my dryer rear bearing installed. I had to find another video to help with the belt orientation. Put together I think I got the job done, now time for a test.
Just changed our kit on our dryer and it worked perfectly. We followed our video as a guide and it was perfect. Thanks a lot! You made me save some cash!
Hi. I followed all the steps exactly as outlined. The set up worked. However, when i switched on, there is a new squeaky noise. Now, its very loud and at the same side, the top frame towards the end gets very hot when running, in a short span. Any reason why this is happening? Thank you
@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance thank you so much for offering to help. I actually looked into it even further and found out that the idler pulley was slightly off position on the shaft. Some WD40 on it sure did the trick. You are awesome! Thank you
Great video, I install everything back, but now there's a knocking from the front. There seems to be some play with the front panel and the drum. Any Ideas why this Is happening?
Hi, Thanks for the response. I fixed the problem by changing the upper and lower felt straps on the front panel. The upper felt strip was really worn out, and the drum wasn't running True. That was causing the drum to make a knocking sound.
👍 I have a question for you & anyone who ordered the part. The video does NOT show a dryer belt included. The Amazon link shows a belt but some replies say they didn’t get one in the kit. I don’t want to go through all this without replacing the belt. Did you actually get a belt?

I would have been helpful if the kit had been exposed so that a kit number and name had shown. I could not find a link for that and it is very frustrating when you need it.

Thanks for this great video. Took an hour or so. Only thing I'd do differently is replace that 15yo drive belt.

Changed my rear bearing. A week later, it now has a louder squeaking sound. I used the grease. Any ideas to help?
Hi Ann,
I think the front of the drum is rubbing against metal on the front panel because the front felt bearing is worn out .
Thank you so much
I did it my bryer.
You’re welcome Peter👍
