I'm so sad you stopped making videos. I literally did all your cuisinart recepies and all are fantastic. No nonsense video, quick and to the point. Hope you are doing well and thank you leaving us with this library.
Just got the Elite Gourmet bread machine. When it wears out ill probably get yours. I work in a hotel during breakfast and theyre always throwing out bananas. Ill be taking some and be making banana bread!!!
made this last week - it didnt last the day - it was delicious - the hardest part of this recipe is waiting a few days for the bananas to ripen! thanks
I’ve been enjoying your channel for a while now. I love it and the recipes! I would love to see close ups of the finished products in future videos! Thanks for your hard works
Enjoying your channel, however some closeups of the dough at its various stages and the loaf when finished would help considerably. Also regarding some comments about the baking time differences, I'm thinking that since ripe bananas can be harder or softer depending on their ripeness, then that would effect the cooking time as there is more or less liquid in the mix. Just a thought.
I’m new to a bread machine.... did you use the knead paddle? Do you take out the paddle before baking? Does the bread bake around it? Send help! Lol. Thx in advance.
Hi Jennifer, yes you use the kneading paddle, on the machine after it kneads and rises there’s a beeping alarm and a little message that goes off telling you to take out the paddle before it starts baking. But don’t worry we all sometimes forget the paddle in while it’s baking, it’s not a bug deal and won’t damage the paddle just remember to take out the paddle from the bottom of the loaf after it bakes completely 😃
Thank you for this video!!! So, the baking program doesn't mix right? I'm watching this because I was trying to make this... I followed the instructions, and it didn't say to use the dough program... Just went to 12. Bake as the instructions said, and had to leave thinking it was going to work alone, it didn't mix anything... It started to bake so when I came back there was nothing mixed, the eggs were boiled, all flour was just on the top and the pecans... Sooooo, i took it all out and put in on my mixer and put it back to bake (i have been checking and it didn't mix again)... Your bread looks delicious, i hope mine will in some way
I followed your directions & at an hour and 10 mins the batter was still wet! I'm using the Cuisinart. I set it for another 20 mins, but I think it'll take even longer than that. Hope my machine isn't broken, but I don't know what else would explain it.
Absolutely, you can add in with the dry ingredients. They should be chopped but not too small. I would suggest no more than a quarter cup maybe a little less
@@mrbreadbaker368 thank you for the clarifications. I actually have the same machine and when I set to dough and decrease the time to 5 min, nothing happens but if I just set to dough with default time then it starts. Is that same for you?
I had this same problem. I waited for the mixing to start. Gave up and used the cake setting like others suggested in the comments here. Turns out a lot better when it mixes 😂 Clarification in the recipe that you don't adjust the time setting would probably save viewers some heartache.
hi for this recipe you'll actually use the dough cycle first then after that you use the bake cycle for about an hour and a half although you should start watching it at about an hour and fifteen minutes. The bake cycle doesn't use weights it just does everything by time. hope this helps
Hi Sonia unfortunately the only way to reset the time would be to stop it completely by pressing the stop button for a few seconds then start over making sure you press the program button to get to the program number that corresponds with the bread you are doing and then start again

Awesome recipe. FYI: wet ingredients are supposed to go in first. Easier on the motor. Prolongs the life of your bread maker.

C. J. Thanks!!!
Looks so pretty too
Why is the dough setting and bake setting being used? I have this machine, and this and other bread makers use the cake setting.

Do you have a recipe that used butter milk also

Can I substitute melted butter for the oil?

You need to use the dough setting first (this is the step where it mixes), then you do the bake setting.

I had the same result. The middle never cooked. 🤷🏻♀️
It depends on the size of the bananas. Not the recipe. The wetter the batter the longer it takes to cook
Hello, can you just mix all ingredients before putting inside and just use the bake option
Sir can i only use white eggs? Instead of he whole? Coz im not allowed
Can you please make a banana nut bread recipie with wheat flour?
You got it!!! Definitely will do 😃
Can you add walnut? If so, when do you add the walnuts?
Absolutely, you can add in with the dry ingredients. They should be chopped but not too small. I would suggest no more than a quarter cup maybe a little less
Hi, is there a reason why Cake option wasn’t used? Thank you
Hi, actually yes, the cake option would not give it enough chance to rise and be kneaded so this allows it a better rise and makes it fluffier
@@mrbreadbaker368 thank you for the clarifications. I actually have the same machine and when I set to dough and decrease the time to 5 min, nothing happens but if I just set to dough with default time then it starts. Is that same for you?

What's the substitute for eggs...
Would you double the recipe to for a 2lb loaf?
yes, absolutely
Do you have to use sugar?
You can actually use honey instead if you like but if you don’t mind it being unsweetened then you can take out the sugar that’s fine
@@mrbreadbaker368 thank you.
@@rickt1951 your welcome 😃
