An easy bread machine take on the coffee crumb cake
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (soft room temp)
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping:
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans

All of a sudden the last 3 loaves didn't turn out from my old wonderful Panasonic machine. When should liquid be added, first or the last ingredient? I'm wondering if that was the reason the loaves didn't mix. The paddle didn't move. In any case I'm going to buy this machine today. Great video. I have to limit to baking once every two weeks. :)

Mr. Bread Baker, this Cinnamon Raisin Bread is big/bodacious/delicious! My go to recipe for this bread, (USED to buy cinnamon raisin bread-it got so outrageously expensive and NOT as delicious). PS - I'll bake one for mom next, she likes cinnamon raisin bread and is gonna love yours! PPS - I have the same machine and pictured on the cover of the RecipeBook/Manual is a Raisin Bread but I haven't seen a recipe for it.

I made this bread today and the crumb was so light and fluffy, however, I had to add more flour once it started kneading. It was too sticky. I think 2 tsp yeast is too much as my loaf hit the top of the lid. You call it a 2 lb loaf but 3 cups flour is 1 1/2.

Question: I accidentally purchased low-fat buttermilk. Would additional butter, like another tablespoon, make up for the lack of fat? Or would it change the outcome?
I have my ingredients in my Cuisinart right now. Your instructions and the ingredients in the description makes for the perfect tutorial. I literally got everything in the machine in 10 minutes. It would have been less had I measured out all of the ingredients like you show here. I needed to warn my buttermilk up slightly 😮. Thank you ❤. I will be back in 3 hours. I got a hold to some royal jelly so I will whip some clarified butter and a bit of Celtic salt and local honey to spread on my wonderful bread when it comes out. 🎉🎉🎉

Hello. Do you have issues with doing 2Lb loaves as some people have. It overspills and makes a mess according to one reviewer on Amazon. How do you find it?

FYI I proof my yeast first for about 7 to 10 minutes. I find that the bread rises better and I only use the dough cycle. as I want my bread to bake in the oven. This has worked for me for the past 40 years and I'm on my 4th bread machine as I have worn the others out.
Do you mean to say you only follow recipe up to when dough is made in bread machine, and then you pull it out and place in your conventional oven?
I proof my yeast, than pour it into the bread machine along with the rest of the wet ingredients. I then whisk all my dry ingredients together and add them to the wet ingredients in the bread machine pan. I then select the dough cycle. Once the dough cycle is complete, I line my bread pan with parchment (it gives the bread sides to lift it out of the pan). I bake most breads at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
so I've noticed that i guess bread machines take less water to make the dough into a ball and knead it, cause i've tried using hand mixed recipes where its 3 cups of flour to 1 - 1 1/4 cup of water, and the dough is just super wet and never balls up. I've been using your recipe and its been turning out great !
How much yeast? You didn’t list it. Also, I noticed your recipe is different than the recipe booklet bc it called for rye flour and many of the measurements were different than what was in the booklet.

I made your bread today in my machine. 1.5lb loaf. First you said 2lb then corrected saying 1.5. It overflowed. I’m thinking too much yeast. What do you think went wrong?
In the demo, you only mentioned the almond flour but in the written recipe, it also shows all purpose flour is there really 4 1/2 cups of flour total in there I’m confused?
He didn’t mention almond flour. He mentioned AP and whole wheat.
He left out rye flour as the written recipe states.
So bummed… no recipe written out… my favorite part! 😢

So after watching your videos, I bought another bread machine. I have not had one for years. I got it day before yesterday. I have already made four loaves of bread. I will never use anyone else’s recipes. Yours are right on point. The cinnamon raisin bread was fantastic. I made “baked cinnamon toast” with that. It was wonderful! The Honey/Milk white bread, the milk and honey my favorite, I will never use another recipe. It was perfect…Only change I made, I used buttermilk instead of milk came out absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so much for the time you take to make these videos for us.
