Just bought a beginners bag and as soon as I opened it I was happy. Found gold without panning it. Looks like I got a large amethyst crystal as well as a pure quartz chunk. On top of the guitar pick and wheat cent.
It has a lot of value! It just depends on “what” you value. I never even thought about gold panning before one of Shane’s videos randomly popped up for me to watch. The more I watched, the more I was hooked. I enjoyed watching, and yes, learning about panning and prospecting. So much so I started buying his paydirt and it has been the best hobby I’ve ever had! It really helps pass the time, relaxing, and it gives me something to do in the winter months when I can’t be outdoors. The value for me is priceless! Plus I get to support a good guy and a veteran in the process!
Goldbay is #1 and I have ordered MULTIPLE times and only had trouble once and he made up for it, I will continue to order from him forever. And by the way I have never gotten wet paydirt from goldbay and I have ordered more than 10 times!

This video was the most satisfying paydirt episode I have ever seen! The gold just kept coming. You should keep the nugget with the hole in it. Natural rocks and minerals with a hole in them is considered to be a 'holy' stone where The Great Spirit resides. Put it on a chain or cord and wear it to bring good things to you. BTW, that plaid shirt brings out the color in your eyes fabulously.

Several questions, Shane: Does Gold Bay give any indication of the source of the gold?(I have poor internet connection & can't usually get to websites) Have you ever had this or other gold tested for purity? (Virtually never is natural gold found to be pure; Clear Creek is usually 990 Fine, but lower in most other places) IS THIS ACTUALLY NATURAL PLACER GOLD, or are the nuggets, pickers, and coarse gold faked and added? (Their advertising seems to indicate a LOT of 'salting'; some of the larger nuggets seem to have flat spots, indicating they possibly were created by melting and pouring into water, wax, or some other medium) Nice video, in any case!
Yeah I know Dave and he mines all of this gold himself with his crew of miners. All of the gold is natural I can tell you that is 100% true, as I’ve found lots of very flat gold in BC and chunky gold in Alaska.
KleshGuitars Cool! He must have a helluva good placer claim (for which BC has been known for a long time! Bonanza Creek comes to mind). But when you pay extra for "added gold", I'm guessing they weigh out a proper amount from their production (minus of course their profit margin) and just add it in? I'm going to have to come by your shop after my truck is fixed to see what you have there! (Oh, btw,...you know anyone who repairs guitars? Got a 1957 Gibson semi-hollow body single mag pickup that the neck is breaking away from the body!)
Fred, I am originally from BC myself, chased "Jolly Jacks Lost placer" most of my teen years. I live in Cali now at my own hard rock gold mine. I also own and finance placer mines in Idaho and AK. All my gold is 100% genuine and all my products are 100% guaranteed for ANY reason. I could not offer the 100% money back (Including shipping) if I was selling "junk". I love that the website even tells you; that this gold is planted, do you want more - it costs $x much?? That is pretty cool, if you think you are getting a gold mine, you're fooling yourself, this is just for having fun with. Transparency is a nice thing - yes, you're might lose money, but you will have a cool time doing so and probably spend less than a week-long trip to the Yuba River to pan and hope!!

Does Gold Bay give any indication of the source of the gold?(I have poor internet connection & can't usually get to websites)
Have you ever had this or other gold tested for purity? (Virtually never is natural gold found to be pure; Clear Creek is usually 990 Fine, but lower in most other places)
IS THIS ACTUALLY NATURAL PLACER GOLD, or are the nuggets, pickers, and coarse gold faked and added? (Their advertising seems to indicate a LOT of 'salting'; some of the larger nuggets seem to have flat spots, indicating they possibly were created by melting and pouring into water, wax, or some other medium)

Yeah I know Dave and he mines all of this gold himself with his crew of miners. All of the gold is natural I can tell you that is 100% true, as I’ve found lots of very flat gold in BC and chunky gold in Alaska.
KleshGuitars Cool! He must have a helluva good placer claim (for which BC has been known for a long time! Bonanza Creek comes to mind). But when you pay extra for "added gold", I'm guessing they weigh out a proper amount from their production (minus of course their profit margin) and just add it in? I'm going to have to come by your shop after my truck is fixed to see what you have there!

It's my first time here and hearing about purchasing bags of dirt with gold inside (paydirt). It has spiked my curiosity as I want to search for gold. I will watch other videos and decide from there but either way I enjoyed the video. Thank you for posting.

I love that the website even tells you; that this gold is planted, do you want more - it costs $x much?? That is pretty cool, if you think you are getting a gold mine, you're fooling yourself, this is just for having fun with. Transparency is a nice thing - yes, you're might lose money, but you will have a cool time doing so and probably spend less than a week-long trip to the Yuba River to pan and hope!!
