- When editing videos and going through the many terabyte's of footage I found George again! Ant, George and Jack had been out doing trough cleaning and dog baiting, as well as repairing some WiFi sites in the South of the Station.
On their way home, they encounter a flat tire, and the real fun begins! Watch the hilarious faffing about and discover Jack's "expert" tips for using a Kangaroo Jack also known as a high-lift jack. Don't miss this comedic adventure on the outback station!
I'd like to see you three changing a light globe please!?! 🤣
Got there in the end, few tips 1) park the vehicle on flat ground which you did 2) in gear hand break on 3) everything need off the vehicle 4) when jacked
do not climb or get into vehicle 5) wheel nut loosened before jacking 6) to replace wheel line up studs to wheel 7) lift standing up facing away from vehicle using one hand.
Roo jacks can be dangerous, a geo was crushed under 4wd and killed. I would call a safety breech on you guys in my job.
How many 👩🌾 Cattlemen does it take to change a tyre. ?
Just a quick handy tip Jack ,make a short lenght of chain to go around the back axle housing and the chassis rail ,you only have to jack about 80 mm to lift the tyre off the ground ,my high lift wont lift the tyre even at full height ,much safer and faster, cheers 😊
That's a great idea!
Known as a "Jack All" in Canada. Best jacks ever built just have to know how to use them.
Keep them piles and halfarse clean and they will work
Nice work Lads, can’t beat a bit of never seize on the studs. Not sure about the jack, but good to see safety first in the the pastoral industry. All in a day’s work 😂
Old Trewella Jacks were great. I think made it Trentham Victoria
Have you seen the Jack from ARB? I don't like ARB stuff, but the Jack from there is a high lift and hydraulic. Safety first, no high lift jack risks 😮
I have seen it! But would be great if they gave us one to test out in the real world 🤣
why don't you like ARB stuff?
Must need some copper anti seize! 🤣
They were Trawallah jacks when i was youger
preparation is key......
Mate I am a lot older than you blokes and I always use a shovel to take the tyre off and to put it back on they just slide under the tyre.
Wash jack with pressure washer it will work like new
What's going George is back from the UK..
I found some footage when editing and threw this together. We have a lot of archive footage that we haven't used yet.
I wouldn’t trust the jack as far as you can toss a bucket of shit
Get the spare ready first loosen nuts Jack up remove wheel fit spare nuts on tight lower vehicle tighten nuts properly put spare back in ute
How many men does it take to change a Toyota tyre? Well apparently at least 3! Just by the bye....it's a one woman job!!!
I do like the spare tyre hidy hole though! Although I noted it took 2 men to refit the still flat tyre into the spare tyre space.
So did the tyre get fixed once home? Or did the next person cop a flat spare?
We're almost shire workers 🤣🤣
I like that tray. It's WA made as well.
Yes the spare got sorted. It's amazing I went two years without a flat on that cruiser... 🤪
We have a whole lot of tires to fix up before summer.
Best
too hard to watch All tools need maintenance. I have 3 hilift jacks all different makes and if kept clean they all work perfectly for all sorts of jobs. Wow it hurts to watch.
