You are so sweet and considerate of others when buying from estate sales and garage sales (what things meant to them at one time). I really liked all the things you got in this video especially the rabbit picture and that beautiful blue and white flower vase. You and your husband are such hard workers! Your videos are a joy to watch. I look forward to them every week. Great job!
I have a daughter in love who lives in Katy Tx and I am familiar with Houston as well. You work so hard and everything you do turns to gold ❤️. I so wish you would charge a little more for your hard work🙏ponder this. I love you and your sweet family❤God bless
I love this channel you are down to earth and very humble. I love your enthusiasm and your consideration for your family time and giving your viewers your valuable time. Your goes appreciated ❤💕🥰🙏🏽
Oh how I enjoyed your video ! My first Estate Sale saddened me. Seeing people go through linens ironed and starched in linen closet and leaving a mess, going through kitchen cupboards and drawers and leave a mess. Not caring how this little lady took such great care of her things and were nice and neat in proper order. I walked out in tears. Now that I’m older I went again and now look at it as she had her home with all these items because it brought her joy and she liked them. You got some beautiful pieces including little bugs with the framed art. I see it as they have a new home to go to be loved and enjoyed again. I’m sure the lady that use to own them all is so happy and proud of you. You are giving them New Life!!! Blessings to You Always. Barb from San Antonio, Texas
Thank you Barb. Yes it really does feel sad. I try and think about it as a learning experience as well that we should not base our life on our things because we can't take them with us when we go. Enjoy them and then let someone else enjoy them when you don't need it anymore.
Amazon has art shipping boxes. Not expensive. I needed one and bought a 5-pack to have a few on hand. Now I don't hesitate to buy art to resell bcs I'm prepared! Love your style!
The gold frame for the bunny painting - perfect! The color of the rooster: greige (gray-jz) Some dark wax would have been a good addition to age it a bit, but I love that one for sure. The greige wash on the basket was the right choice! That blue and white floral vase is lovely, my favorite color scheme and I think it's classy and timeless. I personally don't like fake plants but that's just me. Love the tiny tray with the pear tree! The lavender candlestick is beautiful, oh my goodness, so pretty! Those paintings are awesome, wow they turned out great. I love them! You made them so much better, the money on them was well spent for sure. I don't know how whoever had them didn't cherish them, the family members or whoever. There is definitely a market for hand painted pictures whether they are well known or not, they definitely keep their value and are a good investment if they are nice paintings, so you done good! Your booth is super cute!
Thank you so much Jenny! I appreciate all your lovely comments. Thank you for taking the time to share you thoughts on my flips. I agree about paintings
Hi! I wanted to thank you so much for your content. I am a new subscriber and enjoy your channel. I went to my library yesterday and they have books for sale. I found a vintage Japanese garden book that had some of the vintage plants and names in it. I wouldn't have even thought to look if you hadn't shown your book! Thanks!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great haul! I love what you did with the paintings. That was so thoughtful of you to put the Names back on the paintings. Just love your work. Thanks for sharing, Cory ❤
I am in love with your newer style shop and flip ! That painting is a score girl . I found one with a beautiful frame and Monet watercolor print but I googled lens and mine was going for about $300 I bought it for 5$ lol church mission store I just wanted the huge gold frame 😂
I just bought that exact rabbit painting, it is in the same frame. I got mine at a resale shop for $40. It still had the Kirkland's tag on the back, and it originally sold for $120. I love mine. I kept the frame original and hung it in my dining room. I love your work! You are so creative!
@DesertDIY you are welcome! Thank you for sharing your content! I love to diy, and you have truly been an inspiration. I am contemplating getting a booth once I increase my inventory.
What a lucky find on the Impressionistic cards!! I love Monet and have been to a lovely exhibit of his work in Boston back in the 80's. I agree with you that you had to take apart the paintings so that they could continue to bring joy to people. I had this thing where I would find embroidered hankies or other small items that most most people just throw away. I figure all of the time spent making the item should not go to waste by displaying some of the items in my china cupboard especially if the colors or designs went well with my dishes or glassware. Some items look beautiful framed alone or in a collage setting. Wonderful transformation on the rooster/ chicken!! The paint you used as well as the color gave it so much dimension and interest!!
I thoroughly enjoyed your video today. I love the rooster and basket vignette so sweet💛 I genuinely enjoy watching you remake Thrifting items that I might never consider purchasing. You truly do such a great job. Thank you again for sharing. I hope you enjoy a great day.
I liked every item. Especially the rooster. Maybe an idea for your booth... package a number of items so that they are ready-made gifts that are easy to take with you. English is not my native language, hopefully it will be translated well. Good luck
what a lovely response. I live in the Netherlands and therefore speak Dutch. In fact, all the items you showed today qualify as gifts. Nicely wrapped with cellophane and ribbons I would find that ideal. Especially for those customers who actually came for the rest of the assortment, this could be an easy impulse purchase,I think. Works here, for sure.
The first picture is beautiful! Love the bunnies! I love the gold frame, what a deal! I love the wonderful rooster, amazing! The vase is so stunning, so beautiful! Love the small tray, very sweet! The two paintings were so lovely, thankful you were able to save them! They are stunning!🩵🧡💚💜💛🤍🩷
Your rabbits are so great. And yes, I saw many of your DIYs in the booth. I, too, had a shop in the 80's your do it for love, not profit. Keep up the good work.
Only suggestion I would give is add a few more smalls to fill in empty spaces in your both. You have a terrific eye for design keep up the good work and it will all pay off soon. I do so enjoy watching you videos. God bless you.
Your booth is gorgeous! It looks high end! I wish we had places like that here where I live! I am so glad you saved those lovely pieces of art and happy that you are keeping them! What a great find!
That is an amazing price $300 for that full booth. I've priced out other places in my area. I live in Miami, Florida and they wanted $300 for a bookshelf per month. Believe it or not😮 Love all the items that you got in the work that you put into restoring those beautiful painted pieces
Wow! Yes I could see that Miami is more expensive. Real estate there is so high that store rents have to be high in order for the landlord to pay their lease I'm sure.
What a wonderful surprise to see you holding up the rabbit painting at the beginning of this video by Rolence. It's hanging in my apartment! My sister gifted this painting to me 27 years ago! Wow, hard to believe it's been that long ago myself. I have loved it so much through the years. You're right, I think it's a beautiful picture 😍
I have this same exact painting in my booth!! I'm pulling it out and painting the frame gold. I started out at $195 (I got it at GW for 12.99!!). I repriced it last week for $95. I'm SO glad I came across this video!!❤❤
Your booth is charming! I love the way you honor the origins of your pieces. It's interesting that your look is French Country, but your music makes me think of an Irish Countryside 😊
You did such a nice job saving the artwork you bought at the estate sale and selecting lovely frames for them! Thanks for sharing about your booth also!!
I loved everything in this video. The big bunny picture, oh my word that’s gorgeous! And your work to save the paintings, which are beautiful, was so thoughtful. They turned out fantastic. I love your booth. Great video!!
Enjoyed your video. You thrifted some wonderful items. Love how you cared for the paintings, adding the artist's names to your new frames. The lavender candlestick and the blue/white vase are beautiful! Thank you for inspiring us Cory. 🤗
I am so happy I found your channel doing the furniture makeovers. I’ve been looking for that type content without getting into a lot of more involved refinishing. I hope to see a lot more of your furniture redo in the future.
Excellent beautiful pretty flipping God bless you all ,I am enjoying your shows very relaxing .Thank you so much for sharing ,i can see you love this and because of loving what you do, you will be very successful .
Another great video! I can't lie, at first i was like "OMG, why are you cutting those paintings" but after hearing you explain how bad they were i understood. They turned out great and i love how you gave them a new, updated look. It is wonderful to see things appreciated and given a new life
Just had to stop again for comments ❤ I’m gonna have to get that color for the rooster & basket!! The vase is so matching the blue pillow cases you did-Beautiful with the florals!!❤
All your projects today are beautiful and I love your booth. I always hated it, too, when people would come in my booth and rearrange/redecorate. I scored some of those "chocolate" bunnies on sale at Hobby Lobby yesterday! I was so happy! About the rabbit painting: it is probably 1980s (love it!). In the mid-80s, English Country House style was huge, thanks to Mario Buatta and Mark Hampton. Everyone wanted those Georgian-style paintings, in the tradition of Gilpin or Stubbs, etc. When the actual antique paintings got scarce and really expensive, art brokers contracted unknown but talented artists to reproduce them. They were sold through furniture stores. I have a just such a painting of a hunting dog. Its expertly painted, and hung high in the foyer with actual antique artwork, no one but me knows that George Stubbs didn't paint it. I thrifted it for $45.
Omgosh your little booth is so cute. I wish you were here in Australia I love your things. So kind of you to show your financials..it really does help to know how you work your pricing. Your so sweet I so enjoy watching you work on your pieces. I so enjoy your channel. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

For the larger frames/paintings, you should be able to get a tv box from uhaul or something like that, carefully pull it apart and turn it inside out, then glue it back together. Gives you a blank outside and also helps to protect the painting.

100% agree, you are so respectful and it made me feel so happy!

Hi I'm loving all you product. Your husband does such a good job on making your frames , I can't get the corners ,you have good tools for that.
You can always do "butted" corners for a rustic look
Wow great finds!! The pictures are beautiful! Great job!!
Thank you Sonya

Bunnies make a great Spring or Easter art piece!
Absolutely!
I love the rooster! I use Waverly and I like Mineral. I think it’s great. I love the way you salvaged the canvases!

Good job. You have a good eye. 👍

I work for a shipping fulfillment company. We use standard size shipping boxes. But on many occasions, we have to custom make boxes using what we have as well as large pieces of cardboard.
That's what in thinking I'll have to do
The paintings put a whole new light on preserving items. At first I couldn’t believe you were cutting the paintings down and then I understood it. Great video.
I use a bleach/ water spray mixture on baskets to clean and brighten. For a lighter finish, I just delay the rinse, put in the sun to dry. Love the rooster, and will be picking up that color.
I'm a new subscriber and really have enjoyed your channel! I'm from. Idaho.
Thank you so much! I am so glad to have you here
I think the salvage of the paintings was so wonderful
