    !!!!Apparently TH-cam has an Issue with this video ending on Mobile Platforms (iPad, phones, etc) around the 5 minute mark!!!!
    It seems to work fine on PC computers or if you watch it on our website using Chrome web browser:
    gonewiththewynns.com/sailing-warderick-wells
    From reports of viewers the issue occurs when watching this video on the YT mobile app or on Safari. It seems to work on a PC, or using Chrome and Firefox browsers. This issue was likely caused in the processing that YT does to the video after I upload it. We ALWAYS check to make sure the videos play before going live, but we do this on a PC using a Chrome web browser.
    I have an email into TH-cam to remedy the issue, but I'm guessing they won't be able to do much. Dang TH-cam. Sorry for the hassle guys.

    I love your videos! My husband and I will become full-time RV living within the next year. Your RV videos are very helpful but I have to say your sailing adventures are amazing. I love the quality of the videos and the wealth of information you provide... thank you. The cats are so cute. I love you include them in your video. Keep up the good work and I wish you both the best on all your adventures. Thank you for taking us along.

Also thank you for not having foul language in your videos , they are definitely something I can show my grandchildren and not have to cringe. So envious of what you're doing😎

    I love that you are a sailboat. So many sailors will fire up the motor if they drop below 5 knts of speed. You guys get it. Plus learning to sail your boat well is becoming a lost art among cruisers these days. Good for you!

    Lovely videos as always. One trick for the no-see-ums is baby oil mixed with water (roughly 50/50) in a leftover sunscreen spritz bottle. Just a light spritz on your arms and legs and they will no-prob-lems.

    From my old memory , that was about the calmest and clear water you have videoed . Hope you youngsters are using some good sun block . Otherwise your skin will look as bad as mine when you get "old" . I imagine what it is like to have a drone that will not function in such a beautiful setting . I attempted to take some video of a great twisty road with my original GoPro and while riding had a deer run out in front of me . I preformed a perfect emergency stop and was so excited to show it to riding buddies . Got home to load it up for editing and batteries died right after I started it , so bummed . I always look forward to your excellent video , thanks for all your work , and play !

    Amazing videos and story - thank you. Has rekindled a dream to cruise I had when backpacking 72 days straight in Central America 18 years ago. Regarding the no-see-ums. You always see to be on a beach at sunset when you get bit. Most of Caribbean - and even the west coast of central America - is known for this around sunset. We used to call it the golden 1/2 hour (amazing sunset, golden - attracted to the beach to watch the sun set). ....and that's exactly when you want to get off the beach...to avoid the flies. Not sure if by now you've remarked on this in a similar way. Keep doing what you do. I've been giving the idea of cruising a lot of thought since coming across your videos. Marc

    That school of adolescent Eagle Rays passing by was breathtaking. Do you have any idea of how rare that was?
    Green sea turtles , Nurse sharks, Southern rays and Anoles ( that was a not Gecco) are so common in the Carribean. But that sighting of Rays was a once in a lifetime experience.

    Awesome snorkeling there...I'm so jealous! I was on Ambergris Caye in Belize a few months ago and the no-see-ums were relentless there too. The locals say baby oil is usually enough to ward them off, better than any other option. Not sure if you've tried that, but it does work, for the most part anyway. Forgot the oil on the last day, went walking along the shore in the am and got hundreds, if not thousands of bites...enough to have to go to the Dr. when I got home. Insane! Try it if you haven't. TFS your amazing adventures so beautifully!

  • @jaeljade3609
    @jaeljade3609 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow, this was amazing. I had one of those huge rays swim right under me in Jamaica. One of my coworkers said Jamaica was the "armpit" of the Caribbean. I didn't think that was too nice, I loved the Jamaican people and went back several times. As much as you two have been in the ocean, it's kind of sad this was the first time you'd seen a pod of Ray's. The state of the ocean is so bad, I'm sure you feel lucky and honored to see the things you have. Even Jacque Cousteau could see what was happening and the loss of fish way back in the 60's. I could have sat and watched that nurse shark all day. The ocean is my happy place.

    I'll chime in on the Avon Skin So Soft comment(s). Our canoe/camp group was being forced momentarily to get back in the tents and behind the zipped up mesh barrier that separated us from mosquitos on the beautiful Oklawaha River. These guys come and go as years of camping taught us. However, we noticed a fisherman in his bass boat unfazed by all the mosquitos and with unprotected skin. We focused our lanterns on him and saw that a black aura-like cloud of those flying devils were all around him. We asked how that could be. He said " the skin so soft is the first thing I put in my boat." It's to be expected that the skin lotion company won't own this side benefit of their product but for the initiated to pass along the good news. Sail on and have fun, Wynns, and keep up the beautiful work. Rick

    Polynesian and Melanesian navigators used 'long white clouds' like the one you included in a shot from the blow hole with Nikki in the foreground as a reference indicating the presence of islands.
    They also use wave patterns as a similar reference.
