Emma Stone on Winning Her Second Oscar: "Very Shocked" - Full Backstage Oscars Interview

I watched Poor Things last night and I get why Emma won it. She had to portray a developing child in an adult’s body whose movements and speech evolved throughout the movie. And Emma did that exceptionally well.
Just by her face when her name was announced, she CLEARLY didn't want to beat Lily! Congrats though.
oh please. She wanted to win.
Because the left is committed to instilling guilt in white people.
Who said that??!?😂
@@BRG604 I didn't say she wasn't appreciative. I said she expected and probably thought it should be Lily instead, especially with her putting so much focus on Lily in the speech too.
Not true. She was just shocked she won because she did not think she was going to win
She's incredibly humble and not at all egotistical. I think she's very underrated and definitely deserves her win
Only 3 questions to the winner of an Oscar for best leading actress. 1 is about her nervousness and the other is about her dress. Anyway, thank goodness that someone from the audience was able to ask a coherent question so that Emma can tell us something interesting.
I’ve loved her since Superbad. ✌️ It’s impressive how far she’s come.
She deserved that Oscar so much - definitely the best performance out of the nominees, the film is completely anchored by her performance. Incredible actress.
No way!
you WHTF say you say her deserves 😂😂😂😂😂
Agree on all counts!
My happy moment of this year Oscar. Congratulations Emma....well deserved win.
Mine too!
Love you emma ❤❤
Only 3 minutes for questions?
They probably had to ask all of the nominees and winners questions.
When I first time watched Teaser of Poor Things I predicted Emma will win an Oscar.
I just watched Poor things on Sunday.. She might have had the best performance in history in my opinion.. I can’t agree with this win more
Injusto botar os artistas pra responder pergunta séria depois de ganhar um Oscar. Bota o artista pra gritar, dançar, liberar a ENERGIAAA !
Damm...the girl from super bad is essentially a 2 time oscar winning A LISTER at this POINT.
Whouldve ever thunk it??
She's been an a-lister for years now lol
Like the girl from Flying Nun that presented her nomination.
❤❤❤❤❤
I remember watching her play a moody teenager in zombieland..to being the greatest actress of her generation..
She was very surprised to win it. I think she had already accepted losing it to Lily Gladstone.
I thought Lily Gladstone’s acting was dry. I had to struggle focusing in finishing the film. I haven’t watch this one though.
Lily Gladstone was amazing, NOTHING compared to Emma Stones
She needs to take care of her voice
2 Oscars at 35 will guarantee her spot as one of the greatest actresses of all time
Was she pregnant while performing in the movie ?
No, they started shooting 6 months after she gave birth.
@@overfather1477that doesn't add up to having a 3yo now
@@zydration3538poor things was shot in 2021.
Peplum?? Really
She needs a new stylist, whoever dresses her now puts her in terrible outfits 😢
Not gonna lie. She doesn’t look happy that she won. She could just be tired and I realize that. I’m not trying to argue with anyone in these comments. I’m just saying she doesn’t seem like her usual self.
Nah..
happy for that dude. way to go mister!
#oscarsowhite Aloha all over again
Not Aloha... you mean the movie Haoles.
@@BRG604😂
Oh the race card again sighs. Nope, the oscars liked the movie and/or her performance better. That is it.
bella baxter enjoyed the pretty privilege that frankenstein's monster could only dream of
I don’t get her appeal.
She should have given her oscar to lily and done a pow wow.
robbery from Sandra holler
Emma Stone after winning Golden Globes, Bafta, Critics Choice, Oscars and every award under the sun. “I am very surprised, I am so surprised, I am completely shocked ”
Who remembers when she didn't look like a strung out Lindsay Lohan?
I am super happy for her victory mainly because Lanthimos is Greek and I support him. But her whole "I am SHOCKED that I won'' reaction didn't ring at all true to me. She played it very well but come on, she cannot be THAT shocked, it was a close race until last minute. She played it very well though, she is a double Oscar winner after all... :-)
You really have no life huh? You’re that focused on her speech? You’re such a *****
She is Bad
" the academy" doesn t understand european film art...the oscars are by now only a small local award ceremony , political motivated...the european awards are much more important...Sandra doesn t need that pathetic award...the US is mess!
You know that 'Poor Things' is a British film by a director from Greece?! So this movie is in fact European film art that you claim the Academy does not understand.
Didn't deserve to win that Oscar!
Are you serious?
All nominees in this category deserve to win ❤
@@tommytam3208 yes!
Yes, she did personally. She gave the best performance in this category.
Thankfully you were not the one with the vote!
