There are many immensely appealing things about Yorgos L that come out of this short interview and two stand out. The one is his sheer tenacity, vision and extraordinary will to keep trying to make Poor Things a reality. Twelve years of rejection. Twelve years! And he shows no hubris nor triumphalism at its eventual success; only gratitude and amusement. The second is when for a split second he closes his eyes when Emily S. describes him as a 'genius'. The embarrassment is real and endearing. Roll on next movie please!!
THIS. They’re so fond of one another and the dynamic between them as actor and filmmaker is truly lovely to see. He is modest in that praise she gives him but it definitely shows how much she appreciates him and his dedication to the craft, his creativity, and his commitment to the actors he works with.
Emma has become my favorite over the last couple of years due to the curse, her part in lorgos movies and her overseeing Julio Torres’s work. I can’t express how happy I am that these works are made.
EEEEEEEK when I watched kinds of kindness I said to my husband “what if Yorgos and Nathan fielder worked together” and I’m now screaming at this interview 😭😭😭😭
KoK will probably never be more than a cult favorite at best, but I think it's his best movie to date, and Emma slays in it. As do Jesse and really the whole cast.
three completely bonkers stories, where everyone establishes super psychopathic standards for everyone else to upkeep, and then they do them, and then whoever is left alive is somehow better off??? But instead of different actors, they are the same actors from the last completely bonkers situation where they established completely psychopathic standards. Bro this movie nuts
Can we talk about the moment at 08:00 where they look at each other? Yorgos looking at her eyes and then her lips and Emma looking at Yorgos like she's melting for him. We all know they're married to other people but if they don't have an affair they at least have feelings for each other.
Agree. And she's always saying how she "loves" him. Of course you can get very close with people you make a movie with (and they've done 3), but does it need to be said all the time.
@@Coco-zu9ob Honey, it's only said "all the time" because they're constantly interviewed over and over and over. Normal people don't say it all the time about a co-worker or friend because... well, no one cares.
how will she be able to share these last two films with her daughter when she's grown up? her peers in school will be able to see those scenes, it boggles the mind why an A-list actress would be comfortable with these last two roles
Her daughter will go to a private school with Margot Robbie’s daughter who’s mom shared similar scenes in films like Wolf of Wallstreet and Babylon 😂 Oh the things I’d do to be the child of a wealthy beloved celebrity
Her shirt says Jerskin Fendrix, the music composer of Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness
man I love Emma she's my all time celeb crush, she's painfully gorgeous and she's such a dork you can't not love her
she's not really human, so her role in the next movie with yorgos is fitting.

Such a great pairing, ugggggh can’t wait for the next two films!!! It makes me happy Nathan Fielder and Yorgos love each other’s work
As a fan of both of them, this is amazing.
I love that they’ve become each other’s muses. ☺️
Such a great filmmaking partnership. :)
It is truly precious to watch. I can't wait to see what else these too do.

wow the way he says " i want you to do this " at 10:09 - and the film is about power over other people..

it’s emily stone. do you think people would be like wHo Is EmILy StOne??
if you watch Kinds of Kindness, and you don't feel like a psychopath, then you definitely 100% are a psychopath

Emma & Yorgos are definitely ****ing.
Change my mind.
You won't.
Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. They’re making great films together so who cares?
She's out of his league lol
He is married with Ariane Labed.
girl Emily is literally married with a child you need to try touching grass

Misguided comment.
I agree. I don’t know why she chose to do that at this point in her career.

And you weren't, lol? Doesn't mean anything more than as a guy he can appreciate her beauty.
I may be the least popular opinion but I actually didn’t like this movie. It got worse over the different characters.
Lots of people didn't like it, it's pretty polarising
it had the worst of humanity in it, even animal abuse, it is just terrible stuff
It's not supposed to be taken seriously, it's satire
