Sam Reid deserves best supporting actor. His performances in episodes 7 and 8 were nothing short of amazing. And next season I predict he will WIN best lead actor.
Season 3 just officially confirmed and will focus on Lestat’s POV, with Louis, Armand, and Daniel returning along with a bunch of new characters introduced! Curious to see what memory scenes we’ll “retcon” with new perspectives next season!
Vampire Lestat Season 3 is going to blow people’s minds. They thought Season 1 and 2 were great?! Wait until they get Book 2 and Queen of the Damned. Can’t wait to see how these show runners flip the original content. My favorite part of this series are the changes to the story. These are masterful strokes.
Louis's "I Own the Night" is my favorite moment of this episode. Louis found companionship in himself and is able to take time to heal and be all the beautiful things he is without apology. That's all I wanted for my favorite character in the show because he needs that moment of healing. Obviously, they are setting up Louis and Lestat getting back together because he has not said I love you yet, which I feel like they are saving as a big moment for season 3.
When you think about it, this is our first time seeing the real Lestat. Not someones pov memory of him. Cant wait for next season so we finally get his story and pov. I think they can do an interview each season getting everyones story and have it all intertwined to present day. Theyve done a great job doing it so far for Louis, now we can get others stories like lestat and armand, akasha, marius, etc
@@fortelewisandrew2426 yess i need to see what happened during the 100 yrs before he went to new orleans! I want all the messiness lol I hope we get to see Gabrielle in present day
@@DarthKay093the showrunner signed on specifically so he could eventually tell The vampire Lestat story. He's probably had ideas and outlines about from day one. They have such good writers I have faith they will do it very well.
This seasons ending was almost perfect. The only thing that broke my heart is how Lestat was suffering alone without Louis for 77 years when from the looks of it, he was forced to do what he had to do. 😢
He was forced. Armand set everything up and he was suppose to let Louis go to Lestat. Armand betrayed him. If you are wondering why Lestat looks so weak it’s be he is! They didn’t go into further detail on the show and Claudia’s death went differently in the book, it’s worse, but Lestat was a captive too and Armand pushed Lestat out of a window after the trial. It took him a long time to heal and he was very broken over Claudia’s death. I love Claudia but she was always very unfair to Lestat, mostly because Lestat was made the villain/monster. Louis wasn’t honest with Claudia or himself with how she was created. Claudia was a problem child and she was vicious, Lestat and her were always at odds because they probably were very similar in many ways. Lestat did love Claudia but Claudia never cared about Lestat, not really. I think if she knew about the truth of her creation it could’ve changed her feelings towards him. It was really hard to watch how demonized Lestat was knowing the truth. Louis is always given a free pass on his actions while Lestat is not. Both Louis and Lestat are extremely flawed the only difference is that Lestat is w honest about his flaws. I like that the finale finally showed the truth.
I just finished watching the finale of Interview With The Vampire, and my God, season 2 is a masterpiece! The story, acting, cinematography, character arcs, and dialogs were all stellar! Everything about that show is perfect! It's literally the best show on TV right now! Sesson 2 gets a 10/10
They wrote it like that at the end bc Season 1 and 2 are both based on Anne Rice's book "Interview with the Vampire" season 3 will be called "The Vampire Lestat" bc it'll be based on that book.
Just because we hadn’t seen Lestat use the fire gift before, doesn’t mean he didn’t have it. Remember Armand claiming he taught Lestat stuff? We didn’t see the cloud gift for several decades - but Lestat had it the whole time.
Lestat saying did you hurt yourself? OMG like only a mother, father, lover, brother, friend can convey that type of trauma of PAIN concern, pain at the mere thought of the one they love left this world. He had no idea how much he loved Claudia until she gave him that look of a child begging their father to help them.
I could hold back the tears at that part. I wondered through the whole season if he was truly talking to Lestat when Lou was laying there burnt. So many emotions lol
I think this season surpassed season 1. The performances were incredible! We got an Akasha reference!!! We got the reveal of Armand turning Daniel and that's a big deal. Armand has never turned anyone before. I have enjoyed watching this with y'all. I cannot wait for season 3!!
Rare to see a show improve upon the original content. This show will be regarded with likes of The Wire and Sopranos and Breaking Bad when it’s all said and done. Wait til Netflix gets involved. Done done
Lestat learned the Fire gift and the time freezing gift from Armand. But he never uses the Fire gift because it could get out of control because of Akashas blood…
I might be mistaken, but was Akasha mentioned in this episode? I noticed that Lestat mentioned that he was rehearsing and that he was preparing to go on tour, which leads me to believe that the next season (if there is a season 3) will cover a slightly different version of 'Queen Of The Damned' for the series. I just want to see if anyone 'else' hear Akasha's name mentioned, or whether it was just me.
Yes Akasha's name was mentioned, however, the next season is going to be based on the book that came before the 'Queen of the Damned' and that will be 'The Vampire Lestat'. Akasha is in 'The Vampire Lestat' as well, that's the book where she's introduced.
The one thing I love as much as this episode.... is the Bron and Sam combo.❤❤❤❤❤... these two are the reactors that MY SOUL LOVES❤❤❤❤❤...
