- Here's a great tune by a great band, played by one of my favourite drummers Mr Mel Gaynor. Please excuse the camera shake in this one. I didn't realize the kick drum was vibrating the tripod enough to cause that.

totally agree w/ the OP. when i lookup covers for this, there's always some type of extra-ciricular activity going on. this drummer apparently understands that mel gaynor already wrote the part perfect. great cover, very enjoyable to watch..

You absolutely nail ever aspect of this. The right feel and all the important fills. While this song's hook is very catchy, I've always been convinced it was Mel's monster groove that took it over the top and made it an all-time 80's great.

I've been playing this track for over 20 years, and embarrassingly I've noticed that my practiced flik flak open hi hats that build up to the laa, la la la laa's need work! Excellent work, sir :)

I remember in art class in the 90s I didn’t know much about music but the final section is such righteous show boating I tried to bring the other kids attention to the drumming there. It’s a perfect song.
