I modded my 360 because my old childhood console is a really terrible state! unfortunately much of my profiles and savedata doesn't work at all, so this is extremely useful and valuable, thank you so very much!

Are you sure it's not an odd quirk? I know save modding was a thing on there, and Forza 4 doesn't have any odd restrictions like HDD key locking on the first one.
Alright! I was able to get all of the Rumble Roses XX costumes unlocked (because F that grind) on my 360 from this. I then used to cloud save to transfer everything over to my Series X via the cloud. Thanks!

Ive tried all tools and tricks but just can't select custom packs within the menu while offline and dont want to go online with an rgh. Edit: cracked it, xbox live not needed. The filename of the custom gamer pic needs to match the titleid of the file. Just need to figure out themes now 😅.

what do I do about saves that say I cannot copy or in some cases, even move them? For Fable games (which cannot be copied) I've moved them onto the USB, copied them onto my PC and then just moved them back.

Great but, more difficult than it needs to be. If you have RGH, ftp to HDD1 (or wherever you save your games to) then Content, then "E00014E28D312917" folder (If you dont have this folder, then it's the other folder that doesn't have a bunch of zeros), then find the game save by the title id, transfer it over, to your pc, copy and paste profile/device/console, then transfer it back. There's a lot of 100% saves on thetechgame.
Brings back so many memories! This was how I used to give my friends my saves back when modding Borderlands with WillowTree was the thing to do!

I remember using a program like this to transfer my Fallout 3 saves to be compatible with the PC version.

It would be possible if you hooked up the drive directly to your PC, or if the save was transferred using a hardmodded console.

I've tried this countless times for Forza Horizon 1 and it still says the save belongs to another profile.
As long as it's saved and resigned properly, it should work just fine. Not too much to it, all shown in the video.

I haven't run into those, although at that point you might need to use a HDD transfer cable, or just plug the HDD into a SATA to USB bridge.

It won't let me drag the saved data I downloaded to Horizon. Just says access path denied. Guess I'm out of luck...
You can manually import it in, drag and drop is just easier.

You would have to hook up your hard drive to your computer and use software like FATXPLORER BETA to pull the saves from it.
