I got a weird thing going on mate. When I format the USB, it is not the same as yours. I get a hidden folder called XBOX360 and a few Data files inside of it. If I try to copy anything over it just tells me I need another 34.4mb of space. I tried it on 3 dif USB sticks, all copy the files, none I can transfare?
@@MrMario2011 I managed to get around it by FTP'ing the files to the Internal drive. I then copied the files as guided to HDD1 and its all installed etc, set the paths etc, set the ini. But Aurora does not want to play ball. Just says you need to download the game again. For context , I dont think Im on the latest dash, if anything I think its very old. Here is the info given in DashLaunch: Board: Jasper Flash: Jasper Type: JTAG Kernal: 2.0.14719.0 Do I need to update you think for this to work, or go with another launcher etc?
@@MrMario2011 Fear not! For I have been on a journey to the darkest regions of the 360 It was my dash like you said. I had to go around the houses by FTP'ing to get it set up. Aurora cant run on that early dash. So I learned how to flash my Nand with the latest dash etc and now I'm all up and running with a clean install and a 2TB drive ready to rip all my games onto. Thank you so much for the help with the HW, SW, and all involved in these videos. You have well and truly got my systems up and running to the max... just the way I like it. Plus leaned muchos about the intricacies of the 360 along my merry travels too. God speed MrMario.... godspeed.

Thanks for the video. Just paid someone to RGH my 360 and they put on some type of firmware that was all blue and got you onto some weird version of xbox live, but I wasn't interested in that. So I formatted my hard drive with my PC, then followed along to this video and I'm loving my 360 with Aurora.

Aaah man seeing you post this makes me even more excited for my Jasper 360 to come in! (comes in on Monday!) I legit ordered it because I haven’t touched a 360 since my two (Opus and Xenon) RROD on me back in 2013 and figured you’d have some good guides to make my return a bit more fun!
Thanks, RGH'd my Jasper yesterday and didn't know what to do after! The links were most helpful as I found it hard to gather the tools to troubleshoot my NAND since almost all links were broken/dated.
Two more things: 1. On the Flash Drive, on the computer - create a Folder called Apps - then place aurora, dashlaunch, xellaunch and xexmenu into it. This way you just have to copy this "Apps" folder to the internal harddrive - it's all in one go then and you don't have to create a folder on the xbox - it's much easier and faster when you do it before on the computer. 2. He forgot to copy the content folder to the internal harddisk. The rest is fine.
Why would he need to copy the content folder? The only thing stored there was XeXMenu in Demo format, and that was copied to the hard drive anyway. The only purpose of that folder is to interface with the regular Xbox 360 dashboard, and therefore allow XeXMenu to run on the system. Why would it need to be copied, when not only are the contents useless (due to the other XeXMenu) but also have already been copied?
I have xbox360 that has xexloader on it, can i install aurora on it? Because I dont know if my Xbox360 is retaied or not, hard moded or not, and the oter kinds he mentioned in the intro.

Hi Mr Mario great tutorial had reinstall my modded xbox 360 kept crashing a few times.so first of all reformatted the hdd then I downloaded the required software put it on the fat32 USB stick then I reinstalled the software following you're great tutorial.
It's so ridiculous for some reason whenever I go to the USB stick the always seems to have a habit of going into the first menu which is content doesn't shows anything else coarse slapped my face and I realised if I press the d-pad it would have shown up the rest of the files but yeah great video easier to understand most of the videos I came across her way too confusing I really appreciate it tutorial it helped a lot
Internal memory unit. The on-board 4GB storage. They are prone to failure and disabling this (it's a setting in JRunner) will prolong the life of your 4GB Corona console.
@@calebb9863 there's no such thing. There's 4gb, and 16mb nand. It only needs to be done on 4gb, because the nand and the emmc are one in the same. With the Trinity 4gb, the 4gb emmc is separate and if it dies, it won't affect your nand. So, if you have a Corona, and it has on-board storage (i.e., you see something in your storage menu WITHOUT any hdd connected), yes, it's highly recommended you disable it.
I tried downloading Aurora, but the xex file keeps getting corrupted. *edit* Found another link on their site. Also, your videos helped me install my RGH and get everything setup, thank you for the videos!
excelent video! thanks. But there is not that easy if you have xbox360 without HDD. I have FLASH, and I cannot create folder there. If you don't have HDD, you can leave all files on usb stick. Without removing it at all.

Orignal Xbox emulation is where RGH/JTAG’s shine. Unfortunately the emulation scene is pretty stagnant. But between the XBOX, 360, and XBLA catalog u can get ur DC fix.

If anyone who is trying to install XeXmenu and has a message that renders it corrupt and unreadable when trying to launch it: I had the same issue and, to save anyone else who has this problem a couple hours of research, you need to RGH your Xbox for this to work. Otherwise it will not run and be read as a “corrupt file.”
There is a program called Fatxplorer v3 its in beta 5 you can just plug in ur hdd 2 ur pc and browse and write 2 it and do all this without using ftp or usb stick

Thanks for the tutorial, way easier than figuring out which tool to use to copy from USB to internal storage 😅. I've freshly RGH3(ed) one Trinity console and installed XeXMenu, DashLaunch and Aurora. Everything works fine. One thing I've noticed is temperature difference. My is around 78°C while in Aurora, yours is much cooler when looking at this video. I cleaned the original thermal paste (which has mostly dried out) and used MX4. Is my temperature normal for Trinty boards or I messed something up? Xclamp looked fine when I snapped it back on 🤔.
Everytime I download xexmenu and aurora there’s no files to extract anybody else had this issue, where the download comes as one single file? I’ve re downloaded several times need HELP ASAP 😅
Uhhh in the Hidden "Folder" part, All I Get Is A Folder Called "Xbox360" it took all the space on the USB stick, but i got a solution, i just set the minimum Xbox Useable storage on the stick, i made the Xbox only use like one GB, so I have the rest of it free to use, now the problem is with the "Content" Folder, Where TF Do I Get That ?

Can I install title updates using just xex menu? I've been googling about title update installation for days now and only tutorials I find requires aurora.
Can you copy the xexmenu demo to the memory unit if you just received a fresh rgh slim and want to install a bigger hdd? Nothing else has been done to it so far except the rgh and files placed on the hdd.
I love the Aurora dashboard, but the only issue I have with it is reading the folder where I put my custom skins. I've tried changing the folder permissions, but the skin still doesn't show up. Any ideas?
Need a bit of help here. To begin with, the console won't let me "format" the usb. The only option is to configure it for using it on the console. This means that when i plug it on the pc, it wont let me move files into it. Any insight on how to make my console allow me to format the usb stick properly?

Sounds like Shield, which is a stealth service that allows you to get on Xbox Live even if your console is banned.

Same problem here. There is an Xbox360 folder and the usbbstick seems full when plugged in PC.
Most likely because your USB drive is bigger than 32GB. Format to FAT32.

Mario, the folder you select for the path is scan level 0, not 1. So you can subtract 1 from all your scan depths =). Love ya bro!

A tip for anyone watching this vid: DISABLE INTMU IF IT'S A CORONA 4GB!! It will make your console fail faster if you do not.

Sounds to me like your xbox doesn't have RGH or jtag.

You have to make the folder if it isn't there, as described.

It isn't called a jailbreak. You have to hardmod it, which requires soldering. Look up RGH and go from there.
xbox keeps thinking the files are corruped
My aurora restarts every 20 seconds or so. I bought a modded 360 recently. Any idea as to what is going on?
I only watch your xbox videos. They are perfect for bacround things i play them while i play games. (today i was watching about xbox 360 dvd fashing) even your old videos are top quality. So keep making vids about xbox 360 or i wont have what to watch when i paly XD.

I thought you weren't supposed to connect to the internet on an RGH'd 360? I'm buying one soon from someone, and was doing some googling. I saw a bunch of stuff say that connecting online will get the console banned?
Connecting to Xbox Live will eventually get you banned, nothing in this video uses Xbox Live.
Hi, i did all like u, but in hiden Folders i got only 360 folder, no Contnent folder. Anyone to help out?
I cannot see all my games on the libreary I did the scaner folter into the hdd1 but it is not working...

I think you should update the XeXMenu download with the one from the consolemods wiki? There's 1.2 out
Anything higher than 1.1 is the same. 1.2 is just 1.1 with skins added.

Can I install title updates using just xex menu? I've been googling about title update installation for days now and only tutorials I find requires aurora.

You're probably on an older dashboard, the newer dashboards won't format the whole drive to FATX like that.
Can you copy the xexmenu demo to the memory unit if you just received a fresh rgh slim and want to install a bigger hdd? Nothing else has been done to it so far except the rgh and files placed on the hdd.

I love the Aurora dashboard, but the only issue I have with it is reading the folder where I put my custom skins.
I've tried changing the folder permissions, but the skin still doesn't show up. Any ideas?

Need a bit of help here. To begin with, the console won't let me "format" the usb. The only option is to configure it for using it on the console. This means that when i plug it on the pc, it wont let me move files into it. Any insight on how to make my console allow me to format the usb stick properly?

Nevermind, I assumed the console was banned and just used fatxplorer to copy the files over instead

You ARE using a JTAG/RGH Xbox, right?
